New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): Attending his first meeting of the BJP's parliamentary board after being re-inducted in the central team, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday suggested using social media to reach out to the youth.

"Modi suggested how social media can be used as a tool to reach out to the young people," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ananth Kumar told reporters after the meet.

Modi also said the party should evaluate the failures of the Congress-led UPA, and take the message to the people.

"He suggested that the failures of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government should be discussed in details in the national executive, and then should be brought to the attention of people of India," Ananth Kumar added.

The BJP's national executive will meet in June.

Speculation has been rife over Modi being the BJP's likely prime ministerial candidate. However, there has been differences in the party over the issue.

The allies of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have also been opposing projection of the Gujarat chief minister as the party's prime ministerial candidate.

Modi's re-induction in the BJP parliamentary board was seen as an indication towards his claim for the top post. His close aide Amit Shah has also been made election in-charge of Uttar Pradesh for the 2014 general elections.

    People are not keen to listen what U.P.A has done wrongs but they are interested to know what you will do better if you, N.D.A.come to power.Nobody is bother about hate speeches or criticisms,instead they would like to know what better you do if you come to power.Hope,you understand what I expect the least from you if you come to power because N.D.A.earlier rule is no way better than U.P.A because you are also masters in scams.Thanq ..

    Use any media but do not think people are fools.Youth and old know BJP and Modi very well.Unless you change your ideology forget about winning any elections that matter.As on today there are far more people who think Modi and BJP are a liability on nation than those who think they can lead the nation.

    There are some saying " FIRST CLEAN YOUR HOUSE BEFORE FINGERING AT OTHERS "..... " DO NOT THROW STONES AT OTHERS WHILE SITTING IN A GLASS HOUSE "
