Mangalore: Father Muller Medical College reverberates with magical 'Rhythm'

Mangalore, May 22: 'Rhythm 2013', the Next Step, a unique and special evening full of music and dance, was organized by Father Muller Medical College, Kankanady, here on Wednesday, May 22 at the College grounds.

The event was officially inaugurated by Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, FMCI.

In his address, he urged the students to come together, unite and play together like a rhythm. "Show your talents and leadership along with showing the true spirit of Mullarians," he said.

"At the end of the day, have the happiness, satisfaction and fulfillment of achieving something through this event Rhythm 2013," he added.

Singing and dance competitions were held as the part of the event. Around 23 students sang different numbers while three dance teams of the college rocked the event.

Fr Denis D’Sa, director, FMCON, Anila, faculty from Father Muller College of Nursing and Dr Sandeep were the judges for the events.

Spot games and counter games added colour, along with food stalls that included fast foods, chaats and soft drinks. Song dedications were also a part of the event.

“Diversion Effect” a live band performance by the students was the centre of attraction during the entire event.

Students from different branches were present in large numbers.
