Kuwait: December 30: Agnesian Alumnae Kuwait organized Santa Treat on December 30, 2005 at the Rays One Restaurant from 2.00pm onwards. Santa Treat is the result of the hard work of AAK caroling troupe 2005. A group of 48 people including the parents and kids of the AAK joined together to form a caroling troupe and house to house caroling was carried out at places like Salmiya, Khaitan and Farwaniya-Kuwait. From the very beginning of AAK Agnesian have been organizing various programs for its members and the Charity Bazaar held a few months back was a roaring success.

In the absence of the President Diany Coutinho and Vice President Jackie Alphonso the Secretary Felcita D`souza did a marvelous job in bringing out the true meaning of X`mas in a desert land like Kuwait. The Santa Treat was a party arranged for the kids for their hard work they had put in.

Program started at 2.00 pm with the carol troupe led by Felcita marching forward singing the Christmas carols with Elvin on the guitar assembled at the centre of the hall along with Mr. Santa and Mrs. Santa with bag full of gifts and sweets.

Mrs. Santa lead the prayer followed by the carolers and Santa singing “Away in the Manger”, followed by entertaining games for all age groups, dance sessions and carol singing in between sessions. The whole program was well organized and a good entertaining one for the kids which would not have been a success if not for the prefect sound, music and lighting done by Anand D`souza.

The program was compered by Merwin and was sponsored by Spinneys Confectionary, Jovita & Rocky D`souza, Anita & John Fernandes & Sarina & Michael Lewis. The program came to an end at 5.30 pm with a delicious lunch and vote of thanks proposed by Felcita.
