Bangalore: My innings with BJP is closed chapter - Yeddyurappa

From Our Special Correspondent
Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, May 29: Former chief minister and KJP President B S Yeddyurappa, who was largely responsible for the humiliating debacle to the ruling BJP in the recent assembly polls, has ruled out of going back to the saffron party.

''My innings with BJP is a closed chapter. I will not return to BJP under any circumstances,” declared the Lingayat strongman.

In an informal chat with reporters in the lobby the State assembly as the first day of the 14th  legislative assembly got underway, Yeddyurappa was visibly annoyed at a section of the BJP leaders for their attempts to create confusion in the minds of the his supporters and the people that he was ''knocking on the doors of BJP.”

“It's totally false and baseless. I will not return to BJP at any cost,” he said.

Yeddyurappa said his immediate priority was to strengthen the KJP in the State for the coming Lok Sabha polls.

The people have given the mandate KJP to sit in the Opposition, he said and asserted that he has ''no problem in sitting in the opposition benches.”

BJP Has No Plans to Invite BSY: Shettar

Meanwhile, former BJP chief minister Jagadish Shettar, who spoke to reporters separately, denied reports of his party sending feelers to persuade Yeddyurappa to return to the BJP.

''There is no thinking or discussion in any forum to bring back Yeddyurappa to BJP,” he said.

Shettar said: ''Our party has not sent anybody to meet and convince Yeddyurappa to come back to BJP. There has to be reciprocation from both the parties for any proposal to materialise.”

Replying to a question, Shettar said the BJP succeeded in denting KJP in many constituencies while KJP took away the traditional votes of the party in a few Assembly segments.

''The division of votes benefitted the Congress party,” he said pointing out that the BJP workers have come out of the shock and were getting ready to face the Lok Sabha polls.

“We are confident of winning more number of seats than Congress in the parliamentary elections”, he claimed.

Implement Decision on New Taluks

The BJP leader warned that people would not allow the ruling party MLA or ministers to enter their taluks if the Congress Government dumped the BJP government’s decision of creating new taluks.

Carving out of new taluks was recommended by four committees and it was not a sudden decision of the previous government, he said explaining that the people of the respective regions had been demanding creation of new taluks for a long time.

Commenting on the style of functioning of Chief Minister, Shettar said Siddaramaiah appeared to be in a tearing hurry for some reasons.

The Chief Minister has been taking decisions without knowing its implications or holding proper consultations either with his officials or party colleagues.

“I cannot understand why he (Siddaramaiah) is in so much of a hurry as he has five years to go,” he said wondering if the chief minister had any doubts of lasting the full term.

''We will support any pro-people and development-oriented schemes,” he said.

L.S election 2013, INC will get majority above 275 seats. It is true. Because Congress party only can come up with good governace by cleaning corruption. Due to hung parliament some important bills could not pass in the parliament. Next election INC will get good majority and will pass some important bill for the public. Due to following statistics,
    Karnataka = INC
    Himachal - INC
    Rajastan - INC
    Kerala - INC
    Andra - INC
    Uttarkand - may be INC
Goa - may be more seat INC in LS
    Maharastra - INC
UP more likely seats for INC in LS
West Bengal - INC will get more seats due to mis-govern by TMC
Punjab - likely INC more seats in LS

Dear Yeddy, your chapter is not only closed but buried forever too. It is true that you gave everything to BJP but Party also gave everything to you too. When it comes to Party discipline you only revolt and left for good. Yes, you did lot more damages to BJP but in Politics nothing is permanent because every Party has its own strategy to bounce back

Finally after 40 years in BJP yediyurappa has realised how they tricked him after winning the elections for the BJP.Lets not forget that BJP would have gained anywhere between 20 to 30 seats in the assembly elections and even BJP agrees to this.CT ravi tried to meet him and convince him as he knows how much of a difference he can make and has proved it by getting a 10% vote share and that too for a three month old party !!!!

MANY PREDICTED MASSIVE WIN FOR BJP

NOW NO ONE SPEAKS OF KJP

    ALL EYES NOW ON UPA

AND MANY PREDICT A MASSIVE WIN FOR NDA

BUT THEY "NDA" HAVE NO ONE WHO CAN LEAD THE NATION

UPA, I CANNOT SAY WHAT THEY WILL DO

BUT SEEMS BOTH NDA AND UPA LOOK TO BE IN A MASSIVE MESS

WAIT AND WATCH, IF MODI COMES AS PM CANDIDATE

THAT WILL BE REALLY A GOLD MINE FOR UPA

WISHING ALL THE BEST IN THE COMING LOK SABHA ELECTIONS

ONE THING IS TO BE CERTAIN:
NO ONE IS EXEMPT FROM CORRUPTION

COAL BLOCKS? MANY SAY IT IS A UPA CORRUPTION

BUT ALL THESE BLOCKS ARE IN THE NDA RULED STATES

SO WHO CAN SAY WHO IS PURE AND NON CORRUPT?

MODI'S VISION OF INDIA A MODEL OF GUJARAT

WILL NOT WORK FOR MANY SOUTHERN STATES

THAT IS WHY BJP MISERABLY FAILED WHEREVER HE WENT FOR CAMPAIGNING IN KARNATAKA...

    JAI HOO....

BSY's future decision will be based on 2014 Lok Sabha election's likely results.
Balance will tilt wherever there is more weight, opportunists/ fence sitters strategy!
    Voters be aware!
2014 Lok Sabha elections are quite far, till then many things will happen & shape future.
In all likelihood, 2014 L.S election results will be HUNG PARLIAMENT.
Tremendous scope for horse trading & corruption from fielding candidates till securing ruling majority!

HENRY SIR,if BJP can't muster 200 LS MP seat then it's chance is very bleak. On the other hand it is likely that third viable front will emerge with MOULANA MULAYAM SINGH as front runner.Seeing after LKA & camp's outburst and a demand to install Gadkeri as CHIEF-D-MISSION for coming LS election, the ball was thrown to MODI COURT !!!In fact , earlier LKA himself opposed Gadakeri in the helm for consecutive two terms!!!!One side Modi and another side dissent with in which gives a room that BJP (NDA)can't unanimously it's PM candidate which may again culminating in UPA side or third front.

    ESKEY,

Do you really think I care for number of likes and dislikes my friend?

Read my comments for last two years,,, I write what I feel...least bothered what others think about it.

To be honest with you,,, I never voted for BJP in my life...but I am against Corruption and Corrupt leaders who pretend that they are honest.

Most of these folks here accept corruptions for various reasons...most are outside india and in gulf countries there are no taxes...some accept corruption because corrupt belong to their cast.

They think somebody elses pocket is picked up,,, why should I bother???

Day they realise its their money which is stolen then they will wake up from their deep sleep and perhaps kick both parties CONgress first and perhaps BJP too....
