Mangalore, Jan 4: Ryshivana, an institute of Indian Christian Spirituality belonging to the Discalced Carmelites of the Karnataka-Goa Province will be inaugurated on Wednesday January 4 at 3.30 pm.

Fr Gregory D’Souza, director of Ryshivana, announced this in a press conference here on Monday January 4.

Ryshivana is situated at Kuthar, Ranipura near Mangalore. Fr Luis Arostegui Gamboa, Superior General of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, will inaugurate Ryshivana.  Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore will bless the institute.

A solemn Mass will be offered after the inauguration.  After the Mass, a short felicitation programme will be held, which will be followed by refreshments.

David Fernandes, Victor Rodrigues and Victor Mathias (Vitori Karkala) were also present at the press conference.
