There was a time when Dakshina Kannada was perhaps a model district. However the situation has changed and one can see crime on all sides... bribery and corruption, sexual harassment are the predominant crimes and to control the situation there is the need to have dedicated and honest policemen. Mr. Goyal has indeed decided well to confer awards to the good policemen rendering helpful services to the people.

I join several others in complimenting the awardees.

We can't blame all the police personnel in the polie department. Mos tof them doin hard work and discharge their duties with full responsibility. Thats why they have been identified by the higher officers so that others could also follow their ways and change the working style. Kudos to the awardees.
