Udupi: Advani's decision rash, he should have blessed Modi - Pejawar Swamiji

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi

Udupi, Jun 10: Sri Vishweshawateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math on Monday June 10 said that senior BJP leader L K Advani had taken a rash decision in resigning from all posts he had held in the BJP.

"Being a senior leader, he should have given his blessings to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. By resigning in protest over Modi's appointment as party poll panel chief, Advani has taken a hurried and rash decision," Pejawar Swamiji told reporters.

"Advani's resignation is an internal matter of the BJP. He is known to me personally, but I have no political connection with him. I cannot give any suggestion or opinion on this," he added.

"However, Advani should have blessed Modi and supported him in leading the BJP poll campaign. It was not right on his part to take this hurried decision," he further said.

He also informed that he would be meeting Advani on June 19 during Ganga Abhiyan at New Delhi.

L K Advani on Monday sent shockwaves across BJP after announcing his resignation from all party posts he had held. The decision came a day after Modi's elevation as the chairman of BJP national election campaign committee, a move that Advani had opposed.

Ismail Bhai, please know RSS better before you comment. RSS don't have to use anyone for anything. It is individual leaders who are using RSS ladder to elevate themselves. And all these BJP leaders you have mentioned here were adamant, arrogant and always placed themselves above the party. BJP or RSS has shown no mercy to them no matter how stronger popular they are. Unfortunately Now its LKA's turn.

Having said that, even MODI will not be spared if he does not control his 'AHAM' which I noticed in some occasions. All blesses to Modi for the moment.

    Dear Valerian Sir
Very much respect your opinion. However wish to bring to your notice, once again, that this is my observation. I have said 'some truth'in Mr.Shetty's comment also
    which please note.Though the three
Congress stalwarts which Mr Shetty mentioned may have died in accidents, I refuse to believe the fact that a few top political leaders in Tamil Nadu did not know about Rajiv Gandhi's pending assassination on that fateful day! It was a hand in glove operation
with full cooperation of some mighty powers that be in Tamil Nadu! You don't need dark glasses to hide these facts... do you?? That's why I say this 'political field' is a rut! You do not know.... Your dearest friend may stab you in the back any moment! What's more depressing than that -tell me?
    Best Regards.

The problem is that the Old and Revered 'Bless' nowadays -but they have their own point of view. Some religious heads even dabble in 'administration' matters when their job is to 'bless' all round development taking sides with none! It happens- Hota Hai ! Hota hai!
But only the 'blessed' can 'bless'-right?

    Valerian Sir
There is some truth in what Mr.Ravi Shetty says.
    Also-
Indira Gandhi's deathMany including those in Mrs Gandhi's
    close circles had an inkling.
Sanjay Gandhi's Death: Accident's do happen but his kind have also raised eyebrows.
Rajiv gandhi's Death:he was simply killed by his own men ,who stabbed him in his back.
The price you have to pay to be in politics sometimes is terrible, and
most Congressmen have paid it with their lives.....
Mine is pure observation and don't you agree?

    Dear Bhandarkar,

I like your Shayari and your joyous, friendly and humorous attitude!
But in this matter, I beg to differ with you Sir.
On our own we can presume many things and form opinion!
But finally, what is seen, who are held guilty, what the accused confessed during interrogation, witnesses etc. counts and matters a lot! Common Justice delivery system! I agree it is not fool proof!
That is the reason Judges have to record submissions of aggrieved and accused party.
Any way each of us have right to opinion. Have a nice time!

Once upon a time Ex-President of Egypt, Mr. Hosni Mubarak, advised his religious preachers to stay away from Politics. He politely requested them to concentrate on preaching job only but not politics. He welcomed them to Politics if they are interested in Politics but not as a preachers. It’s all went well as long as he was the President of Egypt and now you see the condition of that country fallen to religious minded people and other religion is suffering

Whether Swamijis expression of speech freedom is right or wrong, let us not debate on that. But same Opponents kept quite when one of the prominent Priest visited Vidhana Sabha recently to express his gratitude towards Congress Government. In India we have two definitions for Democracy Principle, when it comes to Congress and their allied Political Parties everything is OK but when it applies to Opposition Parties, rule is not OK. Here for our Congress supporters “ISO-9002” not at all applicable?

The rift between Advani & Modi has been brewing for a very long time. The bubble has burst. The honeymoon is probably over. this happens in every political party. Nothing
    new !

But to remind you, It was Advani's agenda to divide India on the basis of caste religion. Demolishing of the Babri Masjid, Operation Lotus
( to name a few ) too was his brain child and master plan which boomeranged on the BJP.

What you say is true, Where we Christians used to bother, who is our Minister and which party won who lost and all some time ago?
We were typical Christians, work while you work, play while you play kind of people! Joyous and sussegat people!
Trouble that BJP and or its Splinter group gave us, in fact awakened us politically!
Otherwise we were conscious of academic and economic growth only.

I totally agree with Sri Vishweshawateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math. Mr. L. K. Advani, being senior politician should have accepted Mr. Narendra Modi's current role and expressed himself with Mr. Modi, as both BJP leaders are known to each other from at least a decade. I disagree with readers who object Swamiji involving in Politics. In Western Christian majority democracies specially Protestant and Evangelicals preachers (ministers) express themselves and even debate them about politicians and political situations. (Of course, Catholic Priests by and large do not comment about politics openly). Also these Preachers are usually sided with Rightest Political parties. Also Islamic Clergies have expressed their opinions about rulers quite frequently. In India, the moral values and ethical living of the Hindu politicians must be guided by the " Hindu Sadhus and Saints"... I believe.

Dear Swamiji, Advani's main concern also welfare of the party. He very well know that Modi can add very little votes to the party other than its traditional hadrcore Hindutwa followers who are anyway voting for the party for long time. He wanted two committees to be formed, one headed by Modi and another headed by Mr. Gadkari, without giving supreme power to anyone. But the egoistic Modi did not like this idea and forced the party to toe his line..It is like either with me or without me...So now you see the situation...Advani also forced to take this unfortunate decision...

Swamiji, Advani is a legend. Wish you should have refrained from commenting on Advaniji. Think about your self why you are still sitting on peeta. I dont personally support Advaniji for the stand of dividing the country after Babri Masjid issue which killed and killing thousands. But I respect him as a great leader after Atal Bihari Vajapayee in BJP. NaMo is sharing same port folio on Gujarath for Nara himsa as his name for killing innocent people. But Advaniji is a great politician, and Neemo should go long way to replace him. God Bless India.

H.E Seer of Pajaver Mutt,Advani built BJP party bricks to bricks...that being said,RSS should have been taken LKA in to confidence first and RSS always played proxy HIGH COMMAND over BJP.My opinion is LKA is not child to take hasty decision because this process may last nail to the coffin as time to time RSS intervened BJP matters.

RSS used BSY in Karnataka later dumped

RSS used LK Advani and now seems all over for him

RSS USED Kalyan Singh and dumped

    RSS USED Umakka Barathi dumped

RSS USED AK Subbaih in Karnataka and dumped (now he actively working for KKSV!)

Above list are just instances and there were more such USE & throw cases!

Apart from that it is LKA who brought BJP MPs from two to three digits whose opinion should be respected as per natural justice.

Finally,a man who tipped for number one for National job told yesterday that LKA in fact blessed him!!!In fact was BIG LIE!!!!!Can such person lead AKHILA BARATHA?

I feel that nobody will lead this party in future coz today they promised MoDi. Tomorrow they may throw him out of the party, this is worst than spot fixing. I feel like day by day few more pillars will fall down and BJP will become pillar less party and the name will go to history pages. I feel pity for dreaming leaders of BJP.
