M'lore: MLA Bava briefs about future developmental works

Mangalore, Jun 14: "As promised in the election manifesto to the people of Suratkal area, I have planned to renovate the present market, bus stand and parking facility in the area with the help from the district administration, City Corporation and the government," said MLA Mohiddin Bava.

Addressing the media persons at press club on Friday June 14, Bava said to discuss the developmental works a meeting is scheduled on Monday June 17 at 2 pm where Urban minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, forest minister Ramanath Rai, MCC commissioner, district commissioner, market association owners, auto driver’s/tourist vehicles association owners will be present to discuss over the matter.

Bava said a committee will be setup to manage the developmental works. The area is also in need of a fire brigade facility, renovation of graveyard, up gradation of primary health center, widening of service road and various others said Bava stating that he will plan about it.

"The whole facility in Suratkal is inappropriate and hence systematic facilities should be planned in this regard," he added.

Corporator Shashidar Hegde, former corporator Harish, taluk panchayat member John, Hussain among others were present.
