Kundapur, Jun 20: A persons suffered serious injuries after an unidentified vehicle hit his bike near Mullikatte on NH 66 here on Thursday June 20 night.
The injured has been identified as Prashanth from Siddapur in Uttara Kannada district.
It is said that Prashanth was on his way from Karwar to Udupi when the accident took place.
Gangolli 24x7 helpline team rushed to the spot and shifted him to a private hospital in Kundapur. He was later taken to a hospital in Udupi for further treatment.
Sources said that Prashanth has been serving as the secretary of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) in Udupi.
Doctors said that he has sustained critical injuries on the back of his head and face.
