Dubai, Jan 16: The spectacular bi-annual show organized by the Emirates Paradela Association is gearing up for the spectacular “PICNIC 2006 to be held  on February 10th, 2006 at the Al Jazira Hotel and Resort, Ghantoot (now named Golden Tulip – Al Jazira Hotel & Resort).  The Emirates Paradela Foundation is committed to the cause of providing help and financial assistance to the needy and less fortunate. Ever since its inception it has helped many a poor student in his academic fees and also helps medical cases, the latest being the aid to Violet Martis the cancer victim who has just been operated in Vellore.

Taking into consideration the worthy causes, Sponsors have willingly and always generously lent their help whenever called for and similarly this year too, the help and benevolence of the Sponsors will go a long way in making this  programme a resounding success.

The tickets for the show are already on sale with the members of Emirates Paradela and can be also booked ONLINE through daijiworld.com. The charges for Adults are Dhs. 60/- and for children  from 5 – 12 years is Dhs. 30/-. This is inclusive of the sumptuous buffet lunch which will be served at the venue.

There is already  a heavy rush for the tickets as people who have attended the previous programmes want to make sure that they do not miss out the fun this year too.

The last function held in January 2004 at the same venue was a great success and Usha Uthup herself who came as the special guest was awed with the wonderful and cooperative audience who made sure she sang continuously without even a break.As in the previous years, to enable people to attend this enjoyable event, every arrangement is being taken care of. Special buses are arranged at a nominal fee of Dhs. 10/- per head.

A premiere and much sought after compere has specially consented to be a part of this event and surely his presence will add the magical touch to enhance the glory and success of the event. PH7 – the popular band will be in attendance to enliven the crowd with their  popular style of music.

There is a “Goody bag” for the early birds so make sure you are there On Time to receive the special gift that awaits you. Spot Prizes and a great number of prizes ranging from Air tickets, household appliances await the lucky winners and surely it could be YOU!!!Old is Gold and surely the Paradela members want to make sure that there is something special in store for those above 50 years of age.

Those who are eligible to take part in the “VINTAGE DANCE”. Rock and Roll or just Vibe and Jive and it would be a spectacular moment for especially the young ones to prove that the 50+ are equally good with their dancing skills.
