Beltangady: Student association inaugurated at St Anthony College

Beltangady, Jun 29: “Students can achieve success only if they understand their responsibilities. Passion alone is not enough, you need patience along with it ”, said Fr Lewis Cuthino, Naravi church after inaugurating the student association of St Antony Pre-University college, Naravi, in  the college auditorium on June 26.

On this occasion, Fr Edwin Mascarenhas, principal of St Sebastian pre-university college, Permannur, Kannada lecturer Babu Shetty Naravi, Hindi lecturer Janardhana Joisa, physics lecturer Laveena D’ Coasta were felicitated on behalf of the college.

Newly appointed lecturers Dinesh BK Gowda, Chaya, Shradha, and Shri Purna were welcomed on this occasion.

Lawrence Menezes, Arun Wilson Lobo, and student association president Abhinaya, vice president Yogish and other representatives were present on the stage.

The principal welcomed and led the oath taking ceremony.  Jyothi, lecturer of economics read out  the names of rank holders. Wilma Pinto, commerce lecturer,  announced  the names of  newly appointed lecturers.  Richard Moras, history lecturer delivered the vote of thanks, lecturer of mathematics Santhosh Saldana introduced the guests and lecturer  of physics Rajesh Jain compered.
