Daijiworld Media Network - Dubai/Mangalore

Dubai/Mangalore, Jul 1: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has announced the introduction of premiere (business class) services on the Dubai-Mangalore-Dubai route.

The business class service will be available from July 15 from Mangalore and July 16, 2013 onwards from Dubai.

Speaking to daijiworld, Shakir Kantawala, general manager, Gulf, Middle East and North Africa Jet Airways said, "The airline will deploy its new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering twin class configuration of 8 premiere and 162 economy seatings. Guests will be offered the airline’s best-in-class in-flight products, which boast of warm personal care and service, award winning entertainment, as well as delectable cuisine and wider and more comfortable seats with a 40-inch seat pitch."

He also expressed his happiness on the current service offered by Jet Airways, as the flights have received good feedback from Mangalore-bound passengers and are running succesfully.

According to Jet Airways media release, this new product offers enhanced privacy. It is devised for business and leisure travelers who desire more benefits, more comfort and flexibility.

"Priced attractively, with introductory offers at all-inclusive AED 1,900 one-way and AED 3,115 for return flight, the premiere experience also offers guests lounge access, priority check-in at dedicated counters, as well as priority baggage tagging and 50 kg free baggage allowance."

Hi, we prefer if the fare was less now AI thier ticket fares are less all the time so we wish for ecomony jet airways also should provide less fare so thier will be lot of people who like to travel in jet airways will be happy to travel with the low fare price. And the timings should be changed its really difficult to families to come to airport to pick their families. So i request jet airways to reduce ticket fare and to change the timings of the flights flying from Dubai to Manglore.

There is need for Jet Airways to introduce direct flight to Kuwait originating from Mangalore. Flights to Kuwait by Air India Express pass via M'lore starting either from Kozhikode or Kochi where passengers from these places are given priority. AIE flights cater more to Keralites than to passengers from DK & Udupi districts.

It gives me immense pleasure to know that Jet Airways is introducing Business Class service to Our Own Mangalore. Thank you very much for giving our City a Tag of Business Class services. I am sure you will flourish in that service too! And that too under the able leadership of Mr.Shakir, who is very well known in Dubai as well as MENA region for his Keenness in promoting Jet Airways. However, i would request the concerned authorities to look into the timings of arrival in Mangalore. Its quite inconvenient for us to send our families at these hours and also the fact that the family who live far away from mangalore have to start at midnight to reach the Airport to recieve their family members. This is the main hinderance faced by us. We are extremely delighted with the progress of Jet Airways and i am sure that it will flourish under the Banner of Etihad Airways!! Good luck Shakir and keep up the good work!! Elf Mabrook!!
