Udupi: Violet Castelino elected president of Catholic women's association

Udupi, Jul 2: Violet Castelino from Pamboor parish has been elected the new president of Catholic women's association, Udupi for the year 2013-14.

The election was held at Udupi church hall on Sunday June 30.

The other elected office bearers are Irene Pereira Udyavar as vice-president, Janet Barboza Mudarangady as secretary, Eugine Rebello Milagres-Kallianpur as joint secretary, Vinay D’Costa Kundapur as treasurer, Judith Fernandes Udyavar as ‘Mothiyam’ editor, Sr Theresa Martiz as animator and Fr Valerian Mendonca as spiritual director.
