Bangalore: Tangadagi gets CM’s backing – Maddineni transferred to DK

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Jul 5: Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, asserted that there is no question of dropping minister for minor irrigation, Shivaraj Tangadagi.  It may be noted that after the deputy commissioner decided to go by the rule and restore the land on which Tangadi’s brother was building a bungalow to its original owner by demolishing the structure, she was transferred all of a sudden.

He said that the allegations made against Tangadagi are not backed by facts. “The allegation of malicious intention in the transfer of Koppal district deputy commissioner, Tulasi Maddineni, is ill-founded. Her transfer was not affected out of any pressure or political foul play. As she had completed a term of two years there, she was shifted in normal course,” he clarified.

On the question about the involvement of Tangadagi’s brother in an alleged land scam, he said those found guilty will be punished as per law. “Allegations connected with this case will be scrutinized by the next deputy commissioner of the district,” he added.

It may be recalled that Tulasi Maddineni had not been given any new posting upon her transfer. Through an order issued on Thursday July 4, the government transferred her as the chief executive officer of Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat.

Congress must be vigilant when inducting ministers. There are numerous examples are coming out day in day out done during BJP regime including one in Hubli where then CM has alloted land to hotel run by him. If siddu continues to do same then congress down fall starting not only in karnataka but also in country

Its a clear cut case the lady DC has been transferred connected to the land case of Tangadagi's brother. The CM should not back the Minister in such cases. The DC should have been detained for one more year till everything is settled and finalised. Why the CM is in haste to transfer an honest Officer? However we get a sincere and honest Officer for our District.

Madam, since you are promoted and transfered. Now start tightening these corrupt ministers from the day one you report to your duty. Finish all these before you finish your two year tenure. Because there will be another transfer, since you are sincere.

Commentators have no problem if the issue of corruption is against Cong.Corruption is the hallmark of the party.
Problem arises only when other party people indulge in corruption especially BJP.It is quite natural when people have high expectations about BJP,people tend to make hue and cry when its leaders are accused for corruption.

Hi Joslyn Rooswelt, there are so many neutral voters who switched to congress and ensured congress win. Why congress is frustarting them within 1-2 months? If it continues like this, the parliament election is nearby where the same neutral voters teach good lesson to congress.

To serve in utive part of the govt as DC one shud pass IAS.The person whom we elect even though he has the degree like F.O.U.R.T.H.(F.A.I.L.E.D)means fourth failed have full freedom & power To sack, suspend or transfer her.really pathetic.
In some incidents utive Civil servants also play the dirt game by mingling with oppn parties When Shri George Fernandes name was cooked in coffin scam which was The allegation of malicious intention by the help of my beloved Cong party managers and their friends in CAG.It is very sad that when Shri.Fernades cleared clean by the court he is not in a stable mind to enjoy the verdict.
A youth if he have a criminal charge in court can not be ed to serve as a policemen but he can contest the election by giving affidavit and elect as even MP of a constituency and if sworn as a minister he have the power of suspend , sack and transfer the top brass police officer in a minute.

Disgusting. This chor minister should be punished by public. Public should join together and support honest DC. People should teach this chor minister a lesson. Some months back, one person slapped Sharad Pawar. I salute that person. If ministers and government supports the corrupt, then public will take law in their own hands.

For me, corruption is corruption irrespective of their party affiliations. This action by Sidhu is a big slap on Karnataka electorate. Everybody is not corrupt. There are some good clean persons in all political parties.
