Dubai, July 6: There was a blend of a whole entertainer event-music, prizes, dances, drinks and sumptuous food, making the weekend one of the most cheerful ones. And a well-organized event of FAMAD Pernal's quality made it much more.

The red carpet led to the banquet hall and the colourful lights on the stage brightened up the spirits immediately. Dony and Asha, who took the entire proceedings of the evening, began with a celebrating mood. 'Saiba Bhogos!' was a celebration all-through; a grand one. To top up the exuberance, a well-decorated stage, a 'jungle' theme at the bar, balloons and candle lights everywhere created that perfect mood of fun, joy and loads of surprises.

Michael Trinidate sang many western songs, along with Dony and Asha who sang a few Konkani and Hindi numbers. Joshal D'Souza too joined with her melodious voice which led all to the dance floor for a waltz session. There were Jive, Salsa, Disco and Bayla sessions at regular intervals which kept the
crowd on their dancing shoes most of the time.  To add spice to the perfect dine and dance for young at heart, there were loads of spot prizes and surprises by the renowned comperes. DJs Johnson and Dinesh spinned the silver tracks with joy and fun.

A jam-packed cheerful crowd smiled all through and looked thoroughly enjoying themselves.

A sumptuous buffet dinner was served along with snacks and soft drinks. Lawrence Correa, president of FAMAD Pernal honourd the main sponsors-Lancy Madtha of Integrated Freight and Logistics, Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight Systems, Sathish Venkataraman of Chilly-Willy, Jerald Pinto of MyCar Workshop, Dayan D'Souza, Walter Nandalike, R P Kamath, Deepak Paladka and others. Dony and Asha were honoured with floral bouquets and shawls.
