Nitish Kumar will be taught lesson: Narendra Modi

Patna, Jul 6 (PTI): Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today launched a 'virtual' election campaign in Bihar making a veiled attack against his bete noire Nitish Kumar saying those who 'betrayed' BJP will be defeated by people of the state.

"There is a 1974-like anti-Congress wave prevailing in the country now.  The mandate of the people of Bihar was for NDA. Like then (in 1974), those who betrayed the people's mandate in Bihar will be taught a lesson,"  Modi told party leaders without taking the name of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The Bihar Chief Minister, who has been opposed to Modi's style of politics, dumped BJP after his elevation as election campaign chief in his party last month.

Modi talked to leaders of BJP in Bihar over their mobile telephone through audio bridge technology.  A total of 1,500 leaders across the state were chosen and they were divided into three groups.  He talked to five leaders of each group.

Among those Modi talked to were former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, former Ashwani Chaube, who was stranded in Uttarakhand for some time, state BJP Vice President Sanjay Mayuk, MLAs Nitin Narain and Vijay Singh.

Bihar BJP President Mangal Pande told Modi that everyone was talking about the possibility of his becoming Prime Minister.

The chief minister laughed away the suggestion  and said price rise was now emerging as a major issue and BJP workers should work hard to fight the Congress-led Central government on this and other issues.

When he talked to party leaders in Arrah, Aurangabad and Baata, Modi appeared to show some geographical knowledge of the areas when he mentioned some of the places. To one of them, he talked about the late JD(U) leader Digvijay Singh.

We need a strong leader to the country. Can somebody tell who is there at present? at least at the first look. That is only Mr. Modi. In crises Mr. Singh never stood in front of the nation. One can see in these 9 years. We need somebody immediately address the people in the time of crises. But current PM never come out. We are feeling internally and externally insecured. There is nothing wrong Mr. Modi becoming PM for 5 years. If he doesn't do anything people can throw him out. All in our hand. Why every body should be scared.

Bihar doesn't wish to adopt the Gujarat style of Governance, which is the discussion matter all over the world.
The Hindu newspaper report says: In Gujarat convicted 12 Muslims for the murder of former Gujarat Minister Haren Pandya, by postulating a conjecture that defied every rule of science and logic. The conjecture that the dead man’s body had jumped up inside a Maruti car and contorted itself just so, to get shot in the left scrotum from the top end of the right side window, led the High Court to express its disapproval in the strongest terms of both the quality of investigation and of the whimsical reasoning adopted by its subordinate court of law.
In Gujarat the scale of absurdity in the stances unhesitatingly adopted reveals something far more serious than a breach of the law.
The police in Gujarat wear lawlessness as a badge of honour, and that explains the extraordinary phenomenon of such a rich crop of high ranking Gujarat police officers in prison.
Any administration that nurtures such lawlessness is plainly unfit to govern, but that’s not the whole of it. The ruling political establishment of Gujarat has made an ideological campaign in support of murder, rape and extortion by its highest rung of officers, based not on any credible factual challenge, but instead as a turf battle.
The people who have fought to bring the violators in Gujarat to book are also those who fought against the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, the Meerut killings of 1987 and many serious human rights violations irrespective of the political regime under which they occurred. The constant refrain that this is a Congress ploy against the BJP will simply not wash, for it is not the Congress at all, but a spirited group of activists who have tirelessly worked to expose the now obvious design to create a hype of Muslim terror.
This then is the answer to the hollow indignation, “why Gujarat.”

Bodh Gaya Blast was intentionally coincided with Modi's visit to Bihar by the Terrorists sympathetic to Myanmar, in order to spoil Modi's name.
It is also very alarming that Rohingya tribes are now illegally entering Andaman-Nicobar Island of India and settling there permanently , since these Islands of India are at a distance of just 30 minutes by any motor boat from Rangoon. Andaman Islands are very sparsely populated and illegal immigrants go unnoticed. So, Indian Navy should guard these Indian Islands so that it will not become another Assam bordering Bangladesh.

How can a person become India's PM who is blacklisted in many countires of the world for his communal approach.
Feku is involved in killing of thousands of innocents, sooner or later he will be sent to jail.
Feku is talking about Nitish kumar!! Arrey Nitish, laalu, sharad yadav 100 time better PM candidate than communal modi.

If Odisha can accept Naveen Patnaik after breaking ties with NDA, if WB can give chance to Mamata after severing bonds with NDA, why not Bihar stand by Nitish? Actually JD (U) has taken a wise decision by jumping out of a fast sinking ship. The question for BJP and NDA is even after if managed 175 seats, how would they manage another 100 seats that are required to form govt at the centre? Jayakka may come to the rescue but would demand even PM’s post. None of its estranged partners would join back as long as Modi is at the helm. BJP had a very good chance of cornering UPA in the coming election. Corruption was one issue which would have rejuvenated NDA. Just like in Karnataka, corruption is what going against the ruling UPA now. But now that Modi has been made the face of BJP, corruption will take second seat and the next elections will be an ideological battle between Communalism and Secularism. This is something very dangerous to NDA. BJP and the entire nation have seen that when communalism and secularism has become the focal point, BJP and NDA have been cornered and pushed to the wall by its own allies. Most bitter enemies of UPA too would join hands with it just chanting secularism mantra. And now Modi's lieutenant Amit Shah has added fuel by raking up the Ram Mandir issue. BJP is rattled and have lost the plot badly. Modi's development mantra will never attract enough voters since India is not Gujarat. He's never functioned in a coalition and that is why even before he's nomitated to be next PM candidate, NDA is further divided. This is what will happen. Modi was, is and will be a divisive force and he's already divided his own house. If Modi cannot united a party of like-minded people, single ideology and almost one religion, can he ever united India which is cradle to multiple religions, cultures, languages and ideologies?...Modi better remain in Gujarat. If not he will be 'dhobi ka ...tta...na gali ka...na ghat ka...

    "Ibbara jagal, Mooraneyavanige Laba".
Yeddy & BJP fought, Congress emerged outright winner in Karnataka, otherwise Congress might have lost around 20 seats to BJP.
Boasting is Modi's nature, he dosen't realise Bihar is not Gujarath! BJP will lose half the seats in next election.
