Kundapur, Jul 8: Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh, Kundapur unit, Catholic women’s association, ICYM, Christian Women’s Association, St Franciscan Order and SVP, jointly organized blood donation camp on Sunday July 7 at Holy Rosary Church.

 “Donate blood and save lives. Donating blood makes difference in someone’s life,” said Fr Anil Dsouza, parish priest of Holy Rosary Church, here. He appealed everyone to voluntarily come forward and donate blood.

St Mary’s Pre-University College principal Fr Praveen Amrit Martis, St Joseph’s convent superior Sr Vibha, Catholic Sabha past president Vinod Crasto were present on the dais.

The district government hospital blood bank – Dr Pratap Kumar, Dr Jesma, Dr Deepti Nayak, Dr Arpita, technicians Ashok H R and nurses were present at the occasion.

Many people came forward and donated blood including Fr Anil D'Souza.

Catholic Sabha, Kundapur unit president Wilson Olivera welcomed the gathering. Victoria D’Souza, secretary proposed vote of thanks. Wilson Almeida compered the programme.
