Kundapur: 23-year-old commits suicide in hospital room

Kundapur, Jul 14: A youth who was working at a canteen of Koteshwar Hospital for the past 10 years committed suicide in one of the hospital rooms on Saturday July 14.
The deceased has been identified as Nataraj (23), son of late Krishna Marakala from Petri Cherkadi.
Nataraj who was running the canteen in partnership went missing in the afternoon after he had served food to patients and hospital staff. Later during the search, he was found dead in a nurse room.
It is said that Nataraj hanged himself from the fan using a shawl belonging to the nurse.
Police found a death note in his pocket which stated that inability to repay a loan had forced him to take the extreme step.
Kundapur police have registered a case.
