Karnataka Sangha Qatar hosts youth leadership program

Doha, Jul 15: Karnataka Sangha Qatars’s third youth leadership program, a very popular among younger generation was successfully completed at Indian Cultural Centre. The program which was started on June 29 received good response with full batch strength of 24 children taking part in it.

KSQ in association with Talking Matters Toast Masters Club organized the event third year in a row to provide an opportunity to the children hailing from the state of Karnataka, who stay back in Qatar during summer holidays. The aim of the programme was to provide a platform to children so that they communicate well to become better leaders in their chosen field.

The closing ceremony, which was held at Ashoka Hall, Indian Cultural Centre was attended by large number of members. 

The final day session was managed by YLP Toast Masters. The children captivated the gathered audience with their scintillating performance.
KSQ president Deepak Shetty, in his welcome speech emphasized on the need of having effective communication in the present-day world and thanked Talking Matters Toastmasters Club for joining hands with KSQ for providing opportunity to the children to enhance their communication skills. He also high-lighted the efforts being made by KSQ in promoting cultural and sports talent amongst children, by organizing many children centric programs like ‘Children Talent Search’ for the children hailing from state of Karnataka.
   
TM Javeed Khan was the main co-coordinator of the event and TM, general secretary of KSQ Mahesh Gowda was the assistant coordinator. They were assisted by TM Subramanya Hebbagilu.
 
TM Saquib Raza Khan, divisional governor, TM Shyam Sundar, assistant divisional governor, Nagesh Rao, VP KSQ,were also present on the dais to distribute certificates to the children. KSQ President Deepak Shetty and TM Saquib Raza Khan presented mementos to the TM's involved in organizing the event.
 
Arun Kumar, past President of KSQ and other office bearers and members of KSQ, Seetharam Shetty President Tulukoota,  Ravi Shetty, president of Bunts Qatar, Divakar Poojary president Qatar Billavas and many office bearers of Karnataka based associations were present.
 
Mahesh Gowda, general secretary compered the event and Subramanya Hebbagilu, membership coordinator of KSQ proposed the vote of thanks.
