Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore

Mangalore, Jul 17: The second district sessions court on Tuesday July 16 granted bail to 11 accused who were arrested in Padil home stay attack case that took place in July last year.

Varun, Uday, Nithin, Sandeep, Jagdish, Mahesh, Kiran, Venugopal, Tharanath, Ramesh and Arun secured the bail.

The court granted them bail on a bond of Rs 25,000 and a personal surety.

Three other accused, Taranath, Rajesh and Shailesh were given bail by the high court on June 14 this year.

On July 28 last year, a big group had barged into a birthday party at Padil's Morning Mist home stay and thrashed girls and boys. The police had filed chargesheet with 44 accused. Two media persons Naveen Soorinje and Sharan were also arrested and Soorinje was released four months later.

OMG - at least the Biharies faces are better than these guys looks. Pakka criminals !

Placards and notices should be in place at all public places (with the pictures of all these BD boys) to bring more cautiousness and to be on the alert because the criminals are back in the society. Anything might happen any time.

Party makers, lovers in the park or at the beach, fly. members in ice cream parlor and all the men who are in cabaret halls (if any) please take notice with due importance.

    Thank you

Dear Mr. Lancelot. You asked a question where is the guy wearing the Girl's red jacket. On the photographs provided here he is the second one from left on the second row. In fact, I saw a picture of Kavoor police station where the case of raping the minor girl of 15 by bus conductor is being registered. The first picture there is a man with a similar red jacket. In all probability these moral policing people have reached there because they got bail on 14th and the rape incident was reported on 15th what a coincidence.
Now we can hope for more problems more crimes against women. God only knows why these people do this They do not have respect for ladies and in their own homes instead of taking care of their female folk, they live on the earnings of their mother / wife / sister who are eking out meager livelihood by either working as domestic help in several houses or tying beedies. I am not talking through my hat. I have seen this happening in our neighborhood earlier where there was a chawl. Now the plot is sold out and a big residential complex has come and we are saved of this daily fracas.
