Mangalore, Jul 18: Thieves targeted two shops and a juice outlet located near Pumpwell junction on Wednesday July 17 night, however they were successful only in looting Rs 10,000 from one shop.

Citipoint Medicals, Juice Palace and a wine shop were targeted by the thieves.

The thieves broke the shutter lock of Citipoint Medicals and took away cash worth Rs 10,000. However they did not find anything worth stealing in the other two places.

The theft came to light on Thursday morning when the owners came to open their businesses for the day.

Kankanady rural police arrived at the spot and conducted investigation.

Just to take political revenge, how they can do that to poor children - they just cannot be human beings - whoever they are.
They are only after power I think.
They are a disgrace to our country.

Only a moron can blame government for this petty robbery , which pretty sure you are !! FYI , last year my granny's house was robbed , i never blamed the government for that . It was work of some petty thieves , how can we blame government.

As far as we understand, the thieves are to be controlled by the government through strict law & punishment. Like "Aane Kadharoo Kalla, Adike Kadharro Kalla", these petty thieves are going to become robbers after sometime.
Besides, if you feel government is not responsible, then why the police (working under home ministry) came there? If you sea the laws properly (or you can can kindly consult any lawyer) they will teach you the theft comes under government responsibility or not. Sorry to hear your grannys house is robbed. But as a responsible citizen, you must have complained to police & ensured they followed the law set by the government.

I too agree with you that those holding Govt. responsible for petty thefts etc., they should be really called "MORONS" with capital letters.
Even the well educated people have joined in this kind of tirade - makes me think - what is the use of all that education - only to make some silly remarks here....?
What is the use of holding a good position in a Company\Govt. etc. but the silly remarks such persons make does not befit that position?
How our India can progress with such kind of people around?
Hope they will change and make good suggestions to improve the situations.

BJP is out in full strength to destabilize congress govt. in Karnataka through jobless youths. They are experts in such things. Look at Bihar how Nitish has been targeted as promised by Feku to teach a lesson for withdrawing his support to Feku party.

Police were and are indeed useless,,I stay v.close to pump well,,had two burglaries one 3.5 yrs ago,,another in june 2013...same mode of theft,,cut grills turn the whole house upside down,,God,s room silver untouched,,rest nothing spared.I,v learnt the hard way.first time had a little cash.this time they got nothing.we reported theft to police,,but they are a bigger nuisance than thieves.,,they don,t do anything,,they waste our time,.if we show our local suspects they care a damn.they don.t enquire or give any follow up.I,m quite disappointed with their attitude.this time we left home just one night,so I had strong suspicion on my ex maid,s vagabond son,,who stays a stone,s throw away from our residence,,,but telling this to police is as good as talking to a wall.I,m really disgusted with police,,,they record complaint,,n vanish.around Pumpwell there are all sorts of suspicious people,,more thefts are bound to occur...

What did I write yesterday on release of 11 fugitives on bail ? This is just sample. Real products yet to be put to production. People, beware, use strong locks, ensure to close doors & windows safe way, accompany your grown up girls to and from schools or markets. Now they are used to jail atmosphere where they are supplied all comforts including ganja by their masters.
