Kasargod: Auto driver, friend arrested for raping minor girl

Kasargod, Jul 21: Two persons have been arrested on charges of raping a minor girl at Badiadka here on Sunday July 21.

The accused are Ibrahim Khaleel (34) and Khalid (32), both residents of Badiadka.

The incident occured on July 15 but came to light only later.

It is said that the girl, studying in 10th standard, was waiting by the roadside to hire an auto and go to school on July 15. Ibrahim, an auto driver, saw the girl alone and offered to take her to school in his auto. The unsuspecting girl climbed in.

However, instead of taking her to school, Ibrahim reportedly took her to a deserted house in Beejantadka and raped her. He then called his friend Khalid and he too allegedly raped the girl.

The girl did not reveal the incident to her parents immediately, but when she refused to go to school in the coming days, the parents grew suspicious and questioned her. She then related the incident.

The parents approached the women's cell and reported the matter. The police were informed and a case was registered in Badiadka police station. On July 21, Ibrahim and Khalid were nabbed.

    Even I see that the number of rapes that get reported are increasingly high after Dec2012 incident.
    Only thing I can say is that the shameless beasts are least bothered about the consequences. They know nothing will happen.
    If the Delhi rape culprits were hanged in public would these continue???
    Its my question to all?

    Everyday..R*** is becoming a PROFESSION.

    There is no proper Law to culminate this heinous Crime in INDIA..even after Delhi Nirbhaya Case in Headlines

    In other countries,R*** is like a taking..a cyanide..the jailterm is for lifeterm...and r***** are treated like worst than pests..in jails.

    Advocates..or judges..its a call for you guys..to make serious changes..in LAW.if you ppl can change anything..if you care for ppl suffering from R*** OR JUST MAKE MONEY...

    Nobody should fight a case for Bloody R*****..

    Govt of India should implement death penalty for the rapists like how they do in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which will give the rapist fear of their life before they create any nuisance... Recent rape incident victims are either in high school or they are below 20 years. Why Men above 30 rape these tender girls i cant understand.

    Lust is main reason, and troubles in their own life makes them to become saddistic and exploit innocent minor girls. Death sentence or life imprisonment should be implemented. healthy upbringing with ethics n values can work as deterrent in committing such heinous crimes. These rogues shared same minor girl, wht shud have been her pain ? Dont these guys have women in their lives who play role of mom n sisters ? Why then, they become irresponsible n insensitive when they see other girls ? In the name of help, these crooked guys exploit girls. They somehow convince victim to shut mouth.

    When I see the number of rapes that are getting reported nowadays since Dec., 16, 2012, it gives me shivers down my spine. The girls have become very bold and they should be very bold in reporting such crimes committed against them. The crime against girls/women is increasing at such an alarming rate, it is time that we have start a psychology subject for both sex to realise the importance and value of our body. Girls and women may be physically weak naturally but they should remain mentally strong in fighting such crimes especially those men who are sexual mentally disturbed. I remember the khaps leaders saying that girls and women are responsible for rape crimes. It is time the men straighten up their mind set and start giving complete respect the oppositve sex deserves/demand. Come on men start thinking positive and move in the right direction. If the men see a beautiful girl or woman admire it and don't make stupid comments or harass her. Beauty and personality is meant to be admired and not to be misused for physical gains.
