A threat to Mangalore Airport considered to be bit serious because it appears to be in a hill and too surrounded by hills and fences, easy to sneak.Maybe looking a place of soft target.

I dont understand why security measures put in place only when there is a terror alert ? What if terror strikes without any information ? So many incidents happened which caused loss of life n property. Why cant authorities learn lessons from mistake ? Security preparedness should be round the clock, 365 days. Even if threat is issued or not, be prepared for any eventuality.

It is shocking to know Mangalore too is attracting terrorists as strategic spot. Mangaloreans are no more safe henceforth. Extensive intelligence gathering should happen at ground level in Mangalore to find out people who supply logistic n vital datas to attackers.

does that mean earlier to sunday and before the terror threat there was no tightened security at those airports ? How can we be so light on these securty measures. Lets be on top security alert always, than realizing when there is a terror threat.
