Udupi: Lensman 'Focus Raghu' wins Sam Print Circuit contest in New Delhi

Udupi, Jul 22: Udupi wild life photographer Raghavendra Kodangal (also known as Focus Raghu) has won the prestigious 'Sam Print Circuit -2013' contest in New Delhi in two categories.

Treading the lonely path
The contest was held in internation monochrom (black and white), colour pictorial, photo journalism and photo travel categories. The contest was organized by the Wildlife Photography Association of India.
Eleven photographs captured by Raghu were selected for the final round, and two of them won.
The award-winning photographs were the ones captioned 'Treading the lonely path' in black and white and 'What to do' under the photo journalism section.
Renowned photographer Gurudath Kamath is Raghavendra's mentor.
