Mangalore, Jul 22: Two youngsters were allegedly dragged out of a bus and assaulted near Yekkur here on Monday July 22 in broad daylight.

The incident is suspected to be a fallout of the protest that broke out in Kasargod over a comment on Facebook againt Prophet Mohammed.

The youths have been identified as Moosa Mirshad (19) and Ramshid (19), both residents of Hosangady.

They were on their way to a tutorials in the city, where they are pursuing their second pre-university course. They were travelling by Anjaneya bus no 43.

It is said that nearly 10 persons followed them and forcibly stopped the bus near Yekkur, dragged them out and assaulted them with rods and wickets.

Mirshad and Ramshid, who were injured, were then taken by an auto driver towards their tutorials, but the assualters followed them. From there, they were shifted to Wenlock hospital by their classmates.

Some of the eyewitnesses claimed that one of assaulters was Sanjay, a resident of Jeppinamogeru.

A case has been registered in the Mangalore rural police station.

AN INDIVIDUAL/PERSON HAS NO RIGHT TO BEAT OR THREATEN ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL/PERSON OR INTERFERE IN ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL'S/PERSON'S AFFAIRS.

Now some commentators may say i am supporting minorities. I have commented earlier also irrespective of caste, creed, colour and religion.

Also my sincere and humble advise to all the people to try to live righteously, truthfully by abiding laws of the nation.

May God bless you all and may God bless me also.

This act of violence is to be condemned at all costs.
This is how rumours and violence is spread. This is what the the 'provokers' want....unrest and deep division within communities. It starts with a 'comment' and then everything goes haywire. This is where our reasoning should help us.If one
section adopts the policy of 'let-go' then there will never be problems. The other has to follow suit.Unfortunately all on both
sides are educated and literate and thus fall into the trap set by instigators.

Police should take strict action who all are involved in this "anti social element act". Culprits should come under heavy penalties as well as well rigorous punishment... Best solution is encounter one or two.. then everything will come in straight line.. "ab thak chappan"

Hats off to the auto driver who saved their lives.

Don't worry guys. Allah will do justice with you. Trust me. Leave it to him.

Some cowards who have personal grudge also take their chances during such riots/clashes to hurt and loot. Nothing surprising.

    Dear all!
    I am a Catholic / part Portuguese.
Being that, I respect all religions.
Peace be upon him - Prophet Mohammad Paigamber is a great prophet and the last one.
Probably I am the only person in the world to have the Holy Quran - English version original. I read it every day.It was given to me by the owner of AWARI Hotels - Islamabad way back back in 1997.
I am also a follower of LORD SHIVA,
Swami Vivekananda. All of them are great!
Let us follow the path of the great people. They have shown us the way.
I also read the Holy Bible - King Games Version every day.
Please let us live in peace.
    Have a good day!

NO ONE MUST BECOME RASH AND NEGLIGENT DUE TO THESE ISOLATED INCIDENTS...
OFTEN ISOLATED ISSUES LEAD TO SPORADIC AND ULTIMATELY WIDESPREAD UNREST WHICH IS IN NOBODY'S INTEREST...
MODERN LIFE IS DIFFICULT WITH THE BURDEN OF EVERYDAY WORRIES...JOB, MONEY, FOOD AND PEACE OF MIND ALL THESE ARE SCARCE AND OFTEN BOTHER PEOPLE BEYOND SUSTAINANCE...
IF WE ADD THIS COMMUNUAL MADNESS TO IT THAT'S ROAD WITH NO RETURN...
PLEASE TOLERATE EACH OTHER AND SUPPORT COMMUNUAL HARMONY...
LET US ALL FORGET THE BITTERNESS AND MOVE ON LIKE GOOD NEIGHBOURS AND FRIENDS...

Any lawlessness and especially taking law in their own hands should be dealt severely at this very moment. Should not give any leeawy to these type of goondas. Otherwise situation will get out of hand.
The assaulters should be booked under goonda act.
