Jeddah, Jul 23: Jamiyyatul Falah, Karnataka State Government Award winner Front line NGO’s Jeddah Unit has successfully hosted the grand Iftar Party here in Jeddah on Saturday July 20 evening at Village Restaurant, Azizia District.
Several members, guests and well wishers of Jamiyyatul Falah turned up with their families and witnessed the magnificently organized Iftar party. The event was fully sponsored by Basem International Shipping & Logistics Co. Ltd Jeddah.
The program commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mast. Fahad Janjani which was followed by Introduction of Jamiyyatul Falah by Moderator of the event Br. Mohammed Mansoor.
JF Jeddah Unit President Br. Mohammed Arif welcomed the gatherings and thanked everyone for attending the program and also thanked Basem international Shipping & Logistic Co. Ltd for sponsoring the Ifthar party.
Maulana Mohammed Mawiyah said in his speech “Ramadan is a holy month bestowed by the Almighty Allah for us to obtain a bounty of rewards for the good work done by Muslim Ummah”. He also emphasizes the importance of Zakath, Fithrah and urged all to utilize more time on zikar and ibadath.
Following to the Maghrib Azan, the Iftar and Salah were performed with well organized arrangement and event management by Village Restaurant staff.
JF founder Br Mohammed Iqbal Yusuf has highlighted the activities of JF in general and described how JF has reached to celebrate the Silver Jubilee in this 25th Year of its existence. He also briefed about the ongoing projects of JF and appealed all guests to become Life Members of JF and support the organization for the noble cause.
Chief Guest Maulana Ubedur Rahaman, Editor of Mualim Magazine, focused on the duties and responsibilities of Muslim Ummah towards the under privileged poor families. He also lauded the activities of Jamiyyatul Falah towards the welfare of community and supplicated dua for the welfare of Muslim Community in general.
Arab News chief editor Br Nasir Javed and BBC World Urdu Service Correspondent of Jeddah Br Ayub Janjani were among the special guests attended the program. General secretary of the JF Jeddah unit Br Shaikh Saoud delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the program which was followed by delicious dinner on buffet system served by the Village Restaurant.
