Kundapur: Rash driving - Truck transporting chocolates damages shop

Kundapur, Jul 25: A truck transporting Cadbury chocolates from Kochi to Pune lost control at Maravanthe causing damage to a shop.

Sources said that the accident occurred due to rash driving. The truck was travelling above the speed limit and the driver is said to have lost control while trying to overtake another vehicle.

Somnath stores owned by Ganapathi Shanbagh was partly damaged.

The truck driver escaped from the spot. No injuries have been reported.

A case has been registered in the Gangolli police station.
