Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (BG)

Mangalore, Jul 25: The second additional district sessions court on Thursday July 25 granted bail to 16 accused in the infamous Padil home stay attack case.

Except for three persons - Manoj, who was recently arrested, and main accused Subhash Padil and Munna - all the other accused are out on bail.

Manoj, Subhash and Munna are currently under judicial custody.

The accused were told to furnish a bond of Rs 50,000 and personal surety.

Advocates K Shambhusharma, Radhakrishna Rai and Kishore were the counsel for the accused.

Altogether, 44 were accused in the chargesheet filed by the police. Among them, 38 were arrested.

Of the 38, 19 were left on bail on previous occasions.

On July 28, it will be one year since the attack took place at Morning Mist Home Stay. A large group had barged into a birthday party and assaulted boys and girls. The incident had made national headlines, and two mediapersons were also arrested and later released.

Manoj, who had been absconding ever since the incident, was arrested on Sunday July 21.

Hope these uncultured culture teaching vultures learned their lesson! One year inside is just okay to remind then that next time if they try to teach modesty....it will be more years inside!! Now ask your masters....Did they have a good time while their chelas were in??? I believe....it is a good lesson to jobless!! Lot of peace related to culture and sanskruthi in Mangalore while propagators were in and even caught inside the jail for having and using..stuff they were fighting against during day light??? Now teach culture to your family members and close friends!!!
