Kuwait: IMA ladies wing organizes Iftar get-together

Kuwait, Jul 28: The ladies wing of the Indian Muslim Association-Kuwait which works towards  development of  Muslim women in Kuwait hosted a customary annual Iftar get-together on Friday, July 12 at the Masjid Yousef Al-Adsani, Kuwait city and was well attended by more than 250  ladies

The program started with recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a Urdu translation.

Umm Younus and Umm Safiyya from IMA Ladies Wing gave thought provoking speeches. The first speech was on Do's and Don’ts of fasting. Speaker highlighted various fiqh issues related to fasting and covered the common questions which people ask regarding fasting. The second speech was on the topic Ramadan and what after Ramadan, speaker spoke on true spirit of Ramadan highlighting the importance of this holy month.

"Ramadan is the month to celebrate as the final message was revealed from the Creator and sustainer of the universe to the whole of mankind. Pious life must continue till the last day of our life for success in this life and salvation in the next," the speaker stated.

During the program, the convener briefed about IMA Ladies Wing’s activities. IMA Ladies wing works towards training Muslim women on spiritual and personal level .It works towards development of beautiful character in ladies which would benefit the entire family and the generations to come.
 
Vote of thanks was given by IMA Ladies Wing president Um Zainab and program concluded with the delicious Iftar.
