Waman Kendre is new NSD director


New Delhi, August 1 (IANS): Theatre artist Waman Kendre has been appointed director of the National School of Drama (NSD) here.

An NSD alumnus, Kendre's appointment is for five years, an official release said Thursday.

The artist, who hails from Mumbai, is known for role in plays like "Mohandas", "Ranangan" and "Janeman".
