Circle rates raised in Ghaziabad


Ghaziabad, Aug 1 (IANS): Registration of properties has become costlier in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad as the circle rates have been raised in the district by about 20 percent with effect from Thursday.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has, however, decided to freeze the rates in the current financial year and the proposed appreciation on its properties along with the collector's rate has been put on hold.

As per the new rates, registration of properties per square metre in Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC) will cost Rs.1,40,000, in Kaushambi Rs.65,000, in Indirapuram Rs.60,000, in Vasundhara Rs.50,000, in Kavi Nagar Rs.40,000, in Govindpuram, Crossings Republik and Sanjay Nagar Rs.30,000 and in Raj Nagar Extension Rs.25,000.
