Ontario, Jan 30: The ICCA (Indo-Christian Cultural Association of Ontario) was founded in 1991 with the intention of helping Christian immigrants settled in Canada.

However, over the years ICCA has evolved as an organization with broad-based objectives, which actively promote cultural enrichment and strong family values. Every year, the Association hosts a variety of activities and functions i.e. camping, socials, day trips, dinner-dances, pilgrimages, picnics etc., where the family as a whole can participate and learn about their new country. These events also provide the members an opportunity to network and establish themselves in the Canadian community.
 
As a non-profit organization, the ICCA relies on the generosity of its well-wishers, members, corporate community and individuals. Financial contributions from families, organizations and businesses provide the monetary support that enable the association to provide our community with quality programs, funding to the youth for sports facilities, field trips, social functions and a commitment to do more as the need continues to grow.

The ICCA has always endeavoured, and will continue, to support various charities, like Covenant House, The War Amps, The Princess Margaret Hospital, Missionaries of Charity, and Arthritis Society to name a few. Fifty percent of the profits realized at these functions are distributed between the charities each year.
