    Mrs. Geeta Rani, bangalore,
when you have guests from London ask them to be Romans in Rome. If one has visitors from europe, It doesnt mean that we should mould to their culture.

R.N. Pujari, Manglore - Mumbai: Before questioning about my comment you should read the comment carefully. I just said whi had permitted BD/Sri ram sene to beat? Call police before the attack only and let them take action. If these girls/boys are arrested then their life will be in trouble and definitely parents too will learn lessons. instead by beating them did they able to learn anything? Now you sould go mr.R.N. Pujari, Manglore - Mumbai and ask the girls/boys/parents what lessons they had learnt after the attack. According me, they are still continuing their usual work and they donot bother about such goondas... Please better you and ask those girls/boys what they had learnt because of beating from BD and Sri Ram sene.

The owners should have acquired legally approved license/authorization to conduct such activities. I do not think that having discothèques, night clubs is dangerous to the society. Such place of entertainment are existing all over the world.

Only in India some hypocrites make big noice or raise concern. At least this type of freedom may help all the hungry wolves (rapists) to satisfy their thirst and sustain from raping women in the society. More the control over such freedom more will be the crimes. Crimes will not come down by suppressing. Need to have limited freedom too.

YOU ARE WRONG! RAMA SHENE AND BAJRANG DAL DID NOT DO THE SAME THING. THE POLICE HERE ARRESTED THE OWNERS AND RESCUED THE GIRS AND NOT MOLESTED, THRASHED THE GIRLS OR TRIED TO RAPE THEM. YOU SEE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN THE MOTIVES HERE. SO DONT WASTE YOUR USELESS BRAIN TO ARRIVE AT YOUR FOOLISH CONCLUSIONS.

It is a very pathetic situation for the Disco, Pub, bar owners. They have no choice left. The BJP side also does not permit bars because Rama Sene and BD, RSS do not agree with Disco culture. And now the police want to show their power that they follow the rule of the land. I do not understand the recent SC judgment on women dancing at bars.
We cannot have peace in society unless we have freedom for Beef, V-day, ladies bar, disco and free sale of liquor at convenient supermarket stores.

How can the State Govt. project tourism if the police are going to crack down on live bands / dancing etc ? Our cops want to sleep early besides the Govt. is not ready to recruit more cops into the Dept. If the bars / night clubs are closed early then the cops can sleep early. I think we should send our top cops to countries like Sri Lanka / Thailand etc to learn more on this topic. God help Tourism in Karnataka. Boys and Girls from good social background / status go to the pubs to unwind / entertain their guests / friends etc. That does not mean that they are prostitutes as made out to be by the cops in Karnataka. This is cheap thinking and behaviour.

Mr.Kini, I totally agree with you. Our constables come from very poor social & village background. For them any woman wearing a short skirt or a tight top is a prostitute. Times have changed which these cops / politicians do not understand. It is high time the women come out in the open and protest. These cops get a cheap thrill to raid a pub, take everyone to the Station etc etc.

Tourism is doomed in Karnataka. Thanks to the Karnataka Police.

Many a times my husband and I have taken our female guests ( from London ) to a pub. As we do not have a full time helper in the house it becomes difficult to entertain people at home. I am shocked that the police raid these places thinking that we are all bad women. We will have to stop visiting pubs in Bangalore if this is the trend with the new State Govt.

240 women rescued means what? anybody brought these women by force? i don't think so. they came and joined this job by their own wish. Live bands should not be banned and if the don't have license govt. should issue the license to them. But entertainment & enjoyment should not be stopped. This will leads to increase the rape cases. If anybody brings the women by force and asked them to do illegal activity, then only police have to conduct the raids.

dear Mr.Abdul R.these women in such huge amount came certainly not of their own.they must have brought from their hometown promising a good Job more Money.once These women in their Hands they cant escape.Have to do what their Boss tells they have no other choice.they have to pay back the Money they spent on them. Here in Germany same type of Business is going on.when they are caught then the truth Comes out.some Moneymakers bring Girls from Polen,Rumanien Russia etc.from poor families promising good Jobs,as housemaid .they believe.and bring them and sell them to red light houses.they have no Chance to getout,no pass cant go to Police.so they are helpless.you cant cant judgepeople because of what they are doing or where they are.
