Yes brother Ramesh, I got the point... and also your words "stealing cows for beef n depriving people from their livelihood not acceptable". Yes, i'm 100% agree with you. I must say this goons should be punished as per 'Shariah' law.
But my question / request for reference(Only from Hindu holy scriptures respected and believed it as words of Hindu Gods.) is still remains unanswered.. I'm not challenging you but we need to prove people that all what happening in the name of Cow is not related to real Sanatan Dharm which has some beautiful messages to mankind. it's misunderstanding,or miss guidance or game of dirty politics against which we need to stand together. - Jai Hind

THERE IS NO CATTLE THEFT IN BANGALORE OR ELSEWHERE EXCEPT ONLY IN MANGALORE, BECAUSE THESE THEFTS ARE MASTER MINDED BY BD/VHP/RS/RSS AND HAPPENING ONLY IN DAKSHINA KANNADA DISTICT. IF POLICE WANT TO CATCH THE CULPRIT, FIRSTLY CATCH THE SAFFRON OUTFIT FOR QUESTIONING AND ARREST THEM. POLICE DOESNT WANT
TO ARREST THESE CULPRITS, REASON IS SIMPLE POLICE ITSELF IS CONTROLLED BY THE KALLADKA STRONGHOLD BAJAPA AND THEIR COMMAND IS STILL EXIST IN THE DEPT AND THATS WHY CATTLE THEFT AND RELATIVE INCIDENTS ARE HAPPENING AROUND MANGALORE.

Dear Brothers, Please dont divert the news to a religious violence. Either Hindu, Muslim or Christian eat anything you want, beef, pork or chicken. Only see that the animals are not slaughtered in a cruel manner. I have heard that in some parts of Kerala the cattle is hit on its head using a hammer before cutting it into pieces. This type of killing methods should be stopped. and please dont take all the news with religious and political aspect.

I read somewhere in the internet the following quoting Swami Vivekananda who has written in volume 3, Page 536 - The Complete works of Swami Vivekananda :-
"You will be astonished if I tell you that, according to old ceremonies, he is not a hindu who does not eat beef. On certain occasions he must sacrifice a bull and eat it"

Then it goes on to say - In the same Volume on Page 174 He says:
"There was a time in this very India when, without eating beef, no brahmin could remain a brahmin"

Can some one shed light on these above please?

pork is haram for muslims because Holy Qura'n says so. show me anywhere in the Holy "Geetha" where it says it forbids to eat beef. not eating beef is more of a cultural thing than a religious. Hindus in Sri Lanka,Singapore,Malaysia,Fiji,Trinidad and Tobago,Guyana etc, etc,eat beef on a regular basis.

I do not understand why people are behind ‘ban on beef’. The whole world out there eats beef and the cattle production never fall short. All these people who talk about Go-maatha are using leather seat upholstery for their luxury cars.
There is saying that, the day people stop eating beef then the growing cattle will disappear. It is a process and natural life cycle please do not go against the natural process.

Your comment is so confusing brother, If it's Haraam for Hindu's that's absolutely fine.. you should not have it. But if you are comparing it to Pig meat for Muslims you are uttering foolishness here, Muslims are not stopping anyone from having / selling pig meat. Of-course It's Haram for Muslims but not for others !! simple too.. Even inside malls in gulf countries there are separate place to sell or to buy pork. Every religion is teaching to respect others religious believes and cultures. I'm respecting every religion in my own way. Brother, with all the respect i'm asking you, will give any reference from any of your scriptures where it's clear by words that Cow is 'Haraam' for you and Hindu's should fight, create violence against those who are having it.- Please.

The reason for illegal slaughter houses is very limited permission for legal one's. Government must give permission to open legal slaughtering houses depending upon number of beef consumers. There are more number of minorities in Mangalore & Beef is one of their main food. Government must give permission at least 10 more slaughtering houses in Mangalore to avoid illegal slaughtering houses. 30 years back there were no problem. Beef was plenty at that time as cheap as Rs.10 per kg. There was no problem in legal or illegal slaughtering houses for cow, goat, pig, chicken. Why they made legal only for cows

It is heartening to note, that the police are active. I hope this action is just a precursor for things to come\happen and law and order to be strictly applied.
Police have also warned anyone taking law in their own hands, not to indulge in such activity.

I only hope this is not onetime warning and continue to enforce law and order strictly in karnatka especially in DK.

Most members enrolled in BD/SRS/VHP are unemployed youth. I urge Bajarangis n VHPs leaders to motivate youths in their cadres to rear cows and look after cows in their homes. This will fetch youth legal income to run family/organisation engine. This would be a noble act.

Political leadership must stop playing politics in cow-lifting cases and allow police to do their duty. There are many police personnel involved in cow trafficking for money. Such police must be dismissed. Government of the day is allowing notorious organisations such as BD/SRS/VHP who do not have a high ethical ground, to take advantage of the situation. I am sure congress will ruin itself in this cow-slaughter issue. No body has the right to steal cows from houses. We know police also hand-in-glove with timber mafia, illegal transportation of sandalwood/teekwood trees, granite mafia etc. All are important issues bcz it involves loot of natural resources by many crooked people.

Yes sir, see how they have starved that cow, whoever was rearing them. Is this the way they should treat gomatha?
Just making big noise about cattle slaughter and not feeding their cattle properly, it's two-timing talk.
That person selling the meat from that cow would have got so little to sell...!!!!
Only few of them in the cities they feed cows keeping them inside. Those which are elsewhere are left to feed for themselves. Nobody takes care to take them to the veterinarian for check ups nor do they feed anything extra at home.
Do they bathe the cattle\keep them clean? Just saying "Gomatha" is not enough.

No Mr. Ramesh. I do not go by religion in eating meat\fish or for that matter anything. I eat anything and everything that I can digest.
But I love God my creator and worship Him with all humility and my belief is there is only one GOD. I need not show my love\obedience by not eating certain items. He has created everything for us to make use of them.
These are all man made madness which only creates disharmony amongst us.
My friends hindu\muslim\christians and others all used to eat anything and everything, until we were together and we had no quarrel over anything at all. Very broad minded.
I wish people allow each other to have what they want peacefully.

The police should give warning and guide the people to apply for a slaughter house license and then if they fail to do so take legal action. The police do the same with illegal bar and ladies bars.
The slaughter house is not a gambling den or centre that sells illegal drugs. The slaughter house exists due the demand and supply.
It is the cheap dirty politics the majority playing with the minority. The whole world consumes beef and sold all over the world and we are the only country with foolish people who talk about ban on beef.

Presently there is no slaughter house for Sullia, Puttur, Belthangady, Bantwal, Kundapur and Karkal. Only one slaughter house at Mangalore is not sufficient.

Honorable Ministers should think cow slaughter houses for at least one each for Taluk.
