May Almighty may rest the soul in peace.
This is not only happening in this route but also happens in all the city bus routs. reckless drivers thinks that they are the one to reach the destination on time. RTO can do nothing as they are under the influence of lobbies.
only thing we all can request the govt to create a tougher law and heavy fines to motorists ranging from 5000 to 10000/- and banning from getting a DL for life.

This was expected from Alvares Travels buses as they are very rash. They drive very rash all the time and they don't spare any vehicle to go on nominal speed. They over take at any point even if they don't see any place to pass through. It is high time the owner take note of this incident otherwise he will make his drivers kill many innocents like the way in this incident. Let him tell us as what is the mistake of the truck driver here, that spot is not for over taking. These drivers know that spot very well but they are over smart. It is better for him to sell off all his buses rather than making his drivers kill harmless people. It is also high time for RTO to train the bus drivers to drive on our narrow roads and to be courteous.

I have noticed since years that all 3 no buses specially Alvares motors are very rush and all the buses they have installed vacuum horn. These drivers made life dificult to the motorist driving on Mangalore-Vamanjoor roads. Mr Alvares please take care of your buses and follow traffic rules. Also Please hire civilized drivers who know how to drive and behave.

Such statements "when the bus in a bid to overtake rammed into the vehicle approaching from the opposite side" either it will be car , two wheeler, truck ... what ever we write, comment, request... its same situation. These drivers, so called Yama's representatives give the excuse of bus owners and keep on killing the public. I agree the pressure from bus owners. but after seeing so many brobthers and sisters dying on the road because of you people, don't you think it's time to unite and say NO to bus owners. All of you join your voice and say NO to bus owners. Let there be some limit on the expectation. The bus owners can not expect huge collection from deaths of public people. If all of you drivers make your mind, I am sure this can be avoided. Forget about bad infrastructure. You drive slow and staeady I am sure we can avoid 99 % of such accidents and also such accidental deaths. Just imagine your friends or family members on road and another driver drive above them and give same excuse as his owner forces him to drive fast. Just close your eyes and visualise for a while, you will realise the pain and loss. So, please stop this for gods sake and let's value others lives.
