Mangalore, Aug 13: The Dakshina Kannada unit of ABVP along with Youth Against Corruption (YAC) staged a protest in front of the deputy commissioner’s office here on Tuesday August 13 against the UPA government.

Prior to the protest, hundreds of students marched from Jyothi circle shouting slogans against the government.

Addressing the protestors, ABVP state secretary Ramesh said that in the entire administrative history of the country, corruption has been at its worst under the UPA rule.

"The government is responsible for looting more than Rs 12 lac crore in various scams and many central ministers are involved in it," he said.

"The government was unsuccessful in controlling inflation. The rupee value is decreasing drastically and poverty is increasing in the country," he said.

"The central government is responsible for the corruption in the education sector and for commercializing it. It is due to the corrupt and careless nature of the central government that the country’s financial condition is in the doldrums," he added.

"The ABVP has been repeatedly demanding to bring the black money back to India and also disclose the names of people involved in corruption, but nothing has been done in this regard," Ramesh lamented.

The protestors demanded a change in the system which they said was hampering the country’s progress and also urged improvement in the judicial system, election system, administration, police and education systems.

Everyone should know about their leaders, espacially students.

Can their be some respect for a nation whose former President 'Abdul Kalam' can be frisked at Airport?
Are we the citizens of a country which has no respect in the world?
UPA government made India a shame with its scams, and where are our respected PM? Salluting US?

Its great to see that youngsters of India are coming forward & I dont know why many people here are criticizing it.
Comeon youth choose a leader which can make India a superpower.Burn UPA government this time or else they will burn you.

Government can steal your money even if you keep it in your safe deposit locker with a lock.
The method is simple. Government spends more than budget and the gap is bridged with printing more money.
immediately inflation flares and money in your safe deposit locker can buy less goods and services for you. ( If somebody circulates fake currency you have the same effect).
This a very bad method of taxiing citizens and sadly this bites the poorest of poor the most.
Citizens can counter this government dishonesty by buying gold ( Because governement has no control over gold prices).
gold prices used to provide good hedge against currency . But there seems to be bubble formation in bulliion market( only god can say)
Coming to exports remember that exchange rate advantage is not a real advantage and is just a temporary cost arbitrage.
Real strength will come out of technological superiority and productivity improvement which requires massive investment in Physical infrastructure and manpower development.
Please please please don't praise people who are stealing from our homes.

People are so foolish in the country that one starts barking they all gather, where actually they don't no that fact of the economy, one more thing about this is when BJP was ruling 1000 of scams but people still sleeping.
They say about money to bring back to country which most of the BJP leaders have them abroad.
Main thing is do the people ask for a tax bill when ever they buy things this creates good things to make black money.
If you buy a flat they builder says i need so much in cash and so much in cheque why thats all black money you give in cash and people say bring money back, this is how the country works making corrupt.
So as a citizen of India we should try to solve basically all this issues.
Other thing is the students who gathered over doesn't even now economy works someone told to protest they protest it. Because BJP has lost power in Karnataka and they want to excite people to get thier seats back to earn money by doing corruption again.

Remember students, the students who really want to come up in life never participate in such things. If you really want to do something for nation, keep all these activities in evenings or during your vacation holidays. No one is willing to sacrifice their comfort zone. Isn't it?
