Chikmagalur: Personal assistant of MP Jayaprakash Hegde commits suicide

Chikmagalur, Aug 14: The personal assistant of MP Jayaprakash Hegde, of Udupi – Chikmagalur constituency is said to have committed suicide by hanging on Wednesday, August 14 morning.

The body of Jagannath (48) was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a guest house at Chikmagalur. He had come to the guest house on Tuesday, August 13 and was accommodated in room No 4 in the guest house.

The staff of the guest house who did not find him opening the door of his room in the morning, force opened it and found him hanging.

MP Jayaprakash Hegde and the Chikmagalur police were informed immediately.  The police are conducting investigations. 

The family members of Jagannath have given a statement to the police that he had monetary problems which might have prompted him to commit suicide.

    Extremely sad incident.
    Even thou this shows the modest status of J P Hedge's camp ending life is not a solution.
    Run if you can, surrender if you can not but never be defeated by yourselves.
    May God forgive him and give peace to his dependants.
