Kasargod: Four, including three minors arrested for murder bid on teenager

Kasargod, Aug 17: Four persons including three minors have been arrested for attempting to murder a teenager here on Friday August 16.

The arrested is identified as Abdul Ashfaq (19). The identities of the minors have not been revealed, but it is known that they are from  Uliyathadka SP Nagar and National Nagar.

They were arrested in connection with the murder attempt on Vijesh (17) from Laksha Veedu colony in Uliyathadka.

Ashfaq was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody while the minors were produced in the juvenile court.

The incident had taken place on August 10. Vijesh while on his way back after work was attacked a group which came in bike and fled from the spot after stabbing him. Vijesh who was critically injured was admitted to a hospital in Mangalore.

Weapons used in the incident were found in a bush, a few meters away from the incident spot. As per the information obtained, the accused after the incident stayed in a lodge at Ernakulam.

The accused were later arrested from Chettunguyi. Police sources said that the act was carried out with the aim of creating communal hatred and more persons were involved in the crime.

    Avinash, Who started this last Month ,is that by Communal party whom you are targeting now??, Solution for this is we need to Ban Student comunal Politics formed by Communal parties like congress and BJP. Our teens are more active in Communalism than Education,culprits are Politicians.
    This is a Total Revenge Act by Teens in KAsaragod, Actually dey wer sleeping , who woke dem up last month ???
