Ajman, Aug 18: GMC Hospital, Ajman in association with ministry of health and Sharjah Blood Bank conducted a blood donation camp at GMC Hospital premises on Thursday August 15.

The event was open to public and staff of GMC Hospital from 9 am to 2 pm. The main objective of conducting the blood donation camp was to educate the community on the beneficial aspects of blood donation, promote awareness amongst the general public about the safe blood transfusion and motivate people to donate blood voluntarily for a noble cause.

GMC Hospital authorities conduct blood donation camps throughout the year on a regular basis, in order to aid government blood banks and other regulatory bodies in relation to voluntary blood donation.

A total of 50 donors voluntarily donated their blood for the generous cause.

This humanitarian endeavor by GMC Hospital was highly appreciated by the authorities of ministry of health, Sharjah Blood Bank and the donors.
