Narendra Modi & I are poles apart, says Siddaramaiah

Bangalore, Aug 20, 2013 (PTI) : Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today dismissed the controversial statement of a key cabinet colleague comparing him with Narendra Modi, saying he and the Gujarat Chief Minister are poles apart.

"BJP is praising him to the hilt but Modi can never be a social face," he commented, a day after Housing Minister and actor-politician M H Ambarish said Siddaramaiah is like Modi to the Congress.

Ambarish, in-charge of district of Mandya where Lok Sabha bypoll would be held tomorrow, also reportedly said: "A day will come when Siddaramaiah will be made to tour the entire country. I have a mole on my tongue. Hence, whatever I say will come true".

The Chief Minister said, "....we are like north pole and south pole. This (comparison) issue is something that I can't even think of in my dream and mind".

Siddaramaiah, who completes 100 days in office tomorrow, said even if Ambarish made the statement with good intention, the comparison between him and Modi is "irrelevant".

The Congress leader was speaking at a function on the occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs at Banquet Hall of Vidhan Soudha, the state secretariat, where he presented the Devaraj Urs award for 2013 to socialist leader and former legislator Konandur Lingappa.

    GEORGE FERNANDES was given a clean chit by the commission appointed by the NDA government but the UPA government did not agree to it and then the UPA government appointed a re enquiry but did not even find a single fact in the bribery allegations. Then the UPA government couldn't save its face and then acquitted GEORGE FERNANDES from all bribery charges.GEORGE FERNANDES was given all sorts of mental torture from a CONGRESS paid website named "TEHELKA" just because as a minority he was against CONGRESS.This "TEHELKA" which tortured GEORGE FERNANDES is silent since 9 years, and it has not even exposed a single scam of the CONGRESS giving rise to speculations that it was a CONGRESS paid website.Any minority who opposes CONGRESS would get this kind of drubbing.We should really have stood behind Mr Fernandes. He is one of the 10 greatest leaders INDIA has ever seen.If he had made money he would't have been in this state today. Every leader is supported by his community even if he is guilty, but it is sad that we did not support Mr. Fernandes even when he was innocent.

    Dear Mr. Joseph Gonsalves
    You must appreciate that the whole country is one system. A system will react to changes usually in by forming opposite poles. If you see any country which is built based one ideology without freedom thought and expression " IT Should accompany with a strong military force to make citizens comply".

    Congress has a formula were they threaten or appease minority to get their vote in full. BJP reassures Hindus for votes.
    Please note The very reason right wing parties get prominence is because of this Vote bank politics.
    You can not wish away communalism. Only way to stop perceived communalism is by stopping vote bank politics which is also communal.
    Your liking of Congress or BJP may be just about who you are. This is a tug of war between two parties, I am sure will bring both of them to centre.
    If we need fast change in our standard of living we need to focus more on economic issues which will put politics in proper channel.

    ( One example of a system is our body, If somebody gets High temperature we should not dip him in cold water.
    A antibody in small dose builds up resistance for a particular disease in our body)

    Josephji, In the process of justifying the INC, you are blindfolded on INC sponsered riots. Sikh riots is the major riots in indian histroy and entire INC bandwagon involved and took law into hands. Most of them are central ministers now. If this applies to INC folks then why not Modi. Why different yard stick for Modi. You take any political party either INC or BJP all its leaders are directly or indirectly supported riots and their hands are soaked in blood one or the other way. Come-on man, take any riots in post indepedence India it is run by a polititian. Before BJP era all riots were run by INC ruled governments. EVEn your current CM was responsible for a dalit riots in Mysore when he was in JD. Just because 2002 riots happened in internet era people just recall those and blame Modi. INC promoted Rajiv for PM who is directly resposnible for Sikh riots. So dont say INC has not promoted PMs and CMs when all its leader's hands are soaked in blood. As a common man its INC and BJP leaders who have played against the sentiments of the people and caused riots. Hope you relaise that if you go through the riots from 1947 to till date including KAshmir riots. In brief all polititians hands are soaked in blood. So dont just name Modi.

    Concerning to Sikh riots I have explained in my previous news blog in daiiworld. Commentators are not reading my comments & wanting to jump immediately to question.

    1) First of all you have missed Massacres & atrocities against Christians in Orissa.
    2) Once again you missed church attacks in Karnataka by the bjp & its associates against a small minority peaceful living Christians of south kanara district. If you have full knowledge of the above how did you missed point no. 1 & 2 against Christians by the bjp & its associates.
    3) Sikh riots & Kashmir riots cannot be compared & considered to 1989 Ram Janma Bhoomi riots, 1990 Dalit riots in Chamaraj Nagar, 1992/1993 Mumbai riots, 1999 Bhatkal riots.
    4) Sikhs were brainwashed by the Pakistan to divide India in to Khalistan in revenge to separation of Bangladesh. The khalistan subject & Kashmir subject is coming under sovereignty & integrity question. Sovereignty & integrity of the nation can never be compromised unless both the countries agree otherwise there is bloodshed & the history is evidence to this effect.
    5) Ram Janmabhoomi rath yaatra was conducted by the bjp to destabilize congress. Now also the bjp is trying hard to destabilize India & never will they succeed. All over India curfew & section 144 was imposed & within 2 days the situation became normal.
    6) Concerning to other riots which you have specified are of internal which were small & were contained immediately.

    I have commented several times regarding Sikh riots.

    1) Sikh's were brainwashed by Pakistan for a separation as khalistan.
    2) Kashmir is also included as the problem of sovereignty and integrity of the nation. Bloodshed is going on still in Kashmir.

    NO NATION COMPROMISES ON THE SOVEREIGNTY AND INTEGRITY OF THE NATION UNLESS BOTH THE COUNTRIES AGREE TO SEPARATE THEMSELVES OTHER WISE THERE WAS BLOODSHED. History is the evident for this effect.

    The other riots whichever you have specified were internal matters and were contained quickly.

    Where as Gujrat riots were manned by PuppyLove Mr. Modi.

    There also atrocities against Christians assessed by Atel Behari Vajapayee.

    The North Pole says Gujrath is India. And the South Pole says Karntaka is a part of India.

    If the CM of Gujjus dreams Centre/Delhi then all Indains should learn Gujrathi. Secondly all Central Govt funds will be diverted to Gujrath.
