Extremely sad. Sometimes I feel that we should not publish such things. Someone with concrete plans to make our roads safer will definitely get my support. About 130,000 mostly young and productive get killed on Indian roads annually. We and our government does nothing about this ever increasing figure..

    Very Sad news.

unless and until Govt. or local authority don't take any action accident will never stop.

    (a) lack of signal.
    (b) lack line and track.
    (c} no safe distance.
    (d) reckless driving because of no camera, no fine, no discipline, last 20-22 days I watching all the vehicle in mangalore and Bangalore some of vehicle no plate no, some of vehicle we can't. read plate no.
I would like to request, concerned authority to pls. change plate no number size. if u want to complain any vehicle or if u want to not plate number u not able to read plate number because plate number is very small,
    (e) next is reckless local bus driving, all drivers should get special training. many driver don't follow rules,

unless and until u don't make one way, line on the road, extra track accident will not stop.

pls. concerned authority pls. take above step urgently.

Mr. Melvy Pinth, Manglur....For your kind information my statement starts with "Parents" and "not mentioning any parent in particular". I know my English good enough and know the words that will hurt peoples feelings. I just wanted to highlight the dangers of the decisions taken by parents for their children. And regarding your heart comment- everybody has a heart good & bad its you who decides how it has to be kept. Peace.

Mr. Mascarenhas, nobody is aware about how death comes. As per your statement, parents are not supposed to send their children by rick at all? Or can you give the guarantee, that the child would be safe, if it had traveled by a bus or a car? Mr. Mascarenhas, you must be aware, as its clearly written in the Bible, "death comes as a thief". So instead of blaming or advising parents, lets join togather in praying for the little Angels soul and also pray for the parents to bear the loss and accept the situation.
Sweet child must have been craving to see her parents, since she was missing them...But Almighty God had a different plan for her.
Rest in peace dear...loving tribute from all your well wishers.

another victim for our over speeding driving... so bad on us that we are not able to protest or safeguard our kids. Come on officers, wake up and bring some strong rule for such offences.

God Bless the angel whose life was snuffed out by overspeeding. Instead of raising your voice against the speeding driver and the negligent officers who cannot and to certain extent will not control the rash driving, Mascarenhas, Mangalore you are telling the parents how to transport their children. If possible try to console them do not rub salt on their wounds. Have a heart. Everybody likes to see their name in print but not this way....God give the poor parents to bear the loss...
