Mangalore, Aug 24: The last three who were in judicial custody in connection with the 2012 home stay attack case have been granted bail. The verdict comes days after the infamous home stay attack completed a year on July 28. With this, all the 38 accused have been released on bail.

The second additional district and session court granted bail to the prime accused Subhash Padil, and other accused Ganesh alias Kati Munna and Manu alias Manoj.

It may be recalled that Manoj (23), a resident of Kandavara near Gurupur, Kaikamba, who absconded soon after the attack, was arrested almost a year later on July 21.

After the attack, police had arrested 38 out of 44 accused including reporter Naveen Soorinje and cameraman Sharan. The attack on boys and girls took place at Morning Mist home stay at Padil in the outskirts of the city on July 28, 2012.

The court had granted bail to 11 accused who were released on July 17. In all, 35 out of 38 including Naveen and Sharan were released on bail previously.

The court asked the accused to produce one solvent surety before the release.

This is how the youths are being used by various Sene and disowned when things go wrong. Yet, these youths never learn. Ultimately, who is the loser & sufferer ? Themselves and their families. Their masters are always safe, Congress has done a great mistake by inducting the rogue master in the party. First he should have been arrested & kept behind bar. Jai Karnataka.

What???..r u serious..the guy with light beard(red jacket still rem his face) shouldn't have granted bail.. he is the one culprit as shown in the clip, had beaten up girls and molested..it is as good as a rape..he should have got an extreme punishment....the officers should keep an eye on his movements.

We all should ask from this Vokkanna where is the red jacket he has stolen from the girl. How a accused absconded for a year and how he can get bail? He should be doubly charged and convicted, because he accepted the crime by at large.

Why were you hiding like a coward for a year. You were quite happy to attack the innocent people at home stay. Although you are released on bail, your troubles are not over yet. You will be on beck and call of court. Where are BD people at whose instigation you have done this condemn-able work. Now at least reform. Think twice you act.
