Mangalore, Feb 11: The family of Muhammed Faizal, who was murdered in Dubai is preparing to sue the Al Esteqlal Hotel for not providing him enough security.
 
"The Hotel had not given him proper security as a person who was handling money and working at night. We will sue the hotel. In fact our lawyer is preparing the case against them,"  Faizal's brother Muhammed Farooq told a Dubai-based daily paper 'Emirates Post' 
 
Faruk, who reached Mangalore on Feb 4 from Dubai, said he was happy that the findings by the police, which have vindicated his stand that Faizal had not absconded with money.
 
"Of course, the death of Faizal is an irreparable loss. But the hotel management's version that he had fled with money (Dhs 70,000) had raised questions about his honesty.
 
"Now the police findings have proven that he was innocent and the hotel's version was wrong. This has restored his honour. I am happy about that. I feel vindicated"
 
Faruk who had flown in from Saudi Arabia to Dubai a couple of days after Faizal went missing, said from the begining he had told police that his brother was kidnapped or killed.
 
"There were several clues to this effect. His passport was not with him. Then blood stains were detected on the sofa set next to Faizal's desk"
 
"Although the police had taken a sample of blood from the scene," Faruk said, "A lot evidence was tampered with by individuals at the hotel"
