Mangalore, Feb 11: The "Catholic Children Conference-2006” will be held at St Sebastian Church Hall, Bendore here on Sunday February 12. The conference has been organized with a view of creating awareness about the importance of social, human and moral values among the growing children.
More than 500 children from different schools in and around the city are expected to participate in the conference with 40 animators. Msgr Fredrick V Pereira and Fr Peter Noronha, Bendore parish priest too will be present on the occasion.
The valedictory ceremony will be held in the evening, which will be graced by Fr Denis Prabhu, chancellor of Mangalore diocese and Fr Denis D'Sa of Sandesha.
The conference will include cultural programme, quiz competitions and other competitions for the children, said Fr Francis D'Souza, director 'Infant Jesus Children's Organization," in a press release.
