Kundpapur, Feb 11: One person was killed and one more was injured when a maxicab carrying the marriage party turned turtle near Jattigeshwar Temple at Dombe near Byndoor here on Friday February 10 afternoon.

The vehicle was engaged to bring marriage party to the Panchalingeshwar Temple when it turned turtle and fell into a 8 feet deep gorge at Dombe after the driver lost control over it.  As a result Chandrashekhar (18), who was in the tempo fell outside.  Before he could recover, the temp fell over him.  As a result he died on the spot.

One Ramesh Poojary was injured in the accident.  He has been admitted to a local hospital.  The Byndoor police have registered the case.
