  • A sad story of tiny tots paying for parents' misdeeds

Mangalore, Feb 11: Two children of the couple caught for conning in the city have now been handed over to St Anthony's Charitable Institution at Jeppu near here.

Parul (4) and Latish (2), the children of Vinod Sharma and Kalyani, who were arrested by the DCIB police have been handed over the child welfare institution keeping in mind their future.  However, the last child of the couple, Manasa who is just 6 months old will be with the mother.  The court permitted Kalyani to keep the child with her.

The couple had several cases booked against them in Bangalore.  But the Bangalore police had failed in nabbing them.  But they were caught in their first attempt in the city by the DCIB police.

The police sources also said that the Bangalore police will soon arrive into the city for investigation.
