KPCC secretary's wife turns widow and maid for BDA site

Bangalore, Aug 29 (TNN): Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee ( KPCC) secretary C Nanjappa aka KadurNanjappa's wife applied for a 20x30sqft Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) site claiming to be a widow, with an annual income of Rs 18,000, documents in possession of Times of India reveal.

A list under consideration of the BDA for allotment of sites in Banashankari III Stage identified Sugandhamma as the wife of late Nanjappa. In her application, Sugandhamma claimed to be a domestic help, with earnings of Rs 18,000.

    No Congress leaders supported him/her so far. But When Asaram was blamed for rape some BJP leaders opened in favor of Asaram and some just kept quite but other pseudos were hiding now without giving comments. Why double standard....???????

(only about their party) i.e. they will not hear or speak or see but they will open everything if happens to opposition. I have seen anything i.e. corruption, land grabbing, rape in the state or in country.     If found guilty KPCC secretary should be summarily dismissed. However, there seems to be some suspicion and probably some disgruntled element might have played some dirty game. In any case a thorough investigation is needed to find the truth. Shri Nanjappa has sullied the image of Congress.

    Take immediate action against her and against KPCC Secretary if it is true and done with his knowledge. (But how her husband can confirm as he is no more!!!?)
    KPCC secretary has to resign if it is true and never show his face in Congress party again.

    At the same time, TOI should confirm if KPCC Sec. has signed any of other docs. except his death certificate!!!
    If it is only her declaration, she may have done this to take revenge\ malign KPCC sec. for some dispute between husband and wife.

    Can there be two other people with same names and the husband has died?
    May be some defeated forces are behind this act, conning her to do such declarations just to malign congress in the State through KPCC Secretary. Lure of money can make the worst of a good person like KPCC Sec.'s wife.

    Considering the latest defeats any of those parties could go so low and lower than that too for their gains.

    Just freeze all the assets of KPCC) secretary C Nanjappa because of affidavit signed by his wife that he is already dead. and arrest wife of our late KPCC secretary (for false affidavit)

    Two of his daughters also figure in this list, and have made false representations while applying for sites. The youngest of Nanjappa's four daughters, S N Lakshmi, pursuing an MBA in a reputed city college, has applied for a 20x30 sqft site, claiming to be a garment worker with an annual income of less than Rs 18,000. Lakshmi claimed she is the daughter of late Chinnayellaiah, who is actually Nanjappa's father.

    Nanjappa's third daughter, S N Mamata, who is abroad, also sought a site claiming to be a garment worker, with an annual income of Rs 15,000.

    The documents also revealed the Congress leader's eldest daughter, S N Jayashree, managed to get a 20x30 sqft site, claiming to be a coolie with an income of Rs 5,000. Jayashree, however, is said to be an under secretary rank officer in the state government, while her husband is a revenue officer in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike.
