Mangalore, Feb 12: H Laxminarayan (65), Bollywood's senior cinematographer, passed away here on Wednesday, February 8.

He leaves behind wife, a son and a daughter.

Although he had been a cinematographer for over four decades, the film that brought him fame was N Chandra-directed 'Ankush' (1986), which put Nana Patekar into limelight, besides Nisha Singh in the lead role.

He was long associated with Rajshri Productions, beginning with Pratighat.

His important films as cinematographer are:

Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega - February 2006 (Post-Production)
Chot (2004)
Hum Pyar Tumhi Se Kar Baithe ( Rajshri Productions - 2002)
Suryavanshi (1992)
Pratighat (1987)
