For many of the comments here I suggest you get the facts right. I suggest readers to first know the difference between legal and illegal slaughterhouse and the law. No niether chicken or goat is considered holy and it is alright to cut them. But again, Goat think about it. Also the learned people who commented here must also see how other countries handle their meat demand. Do they cut cows and buffallos at home or they just buy it off the shelf. Why do other countries have designated slaughter houses. Hygine appears to be the key reason. Wondering if that makes sense to some of you.

I like beef so much that I had told one of my nephew to bring some beef from Mangalore to Saudi Arabia last month. But he could not find beef in Mangalore or Ullal and brought some 2 kg cooked mutton. Under the present situation wherein these unemployed goons take the law into their hands I suggest the following: 1. Beef eaters should urge the state government to grant licenses to open beef shops throughout the state. 2. Try to buy the beef from the illegal slaughter houses as much as possible to detest these goons until and unless the state government allows to open legal slaughter houses. 3. Mr. Shabbir should be released immediately and granted license to operate his slaughter house in a professional way. 4. Activists / goons who took law into their hand should be properly punished and/or asked to work for NH 66 widening / repair work to complete the job as soon as possible.

    Our country is sovereign republic
state.Every religion/taste of the people should live with harmony.Above all it's duty of the ruling govt. if they put restriction on beef to provide mutton on affordable price to the common man(it's citizens/voters)Is our Govt will do so??? instead they are exporting mutton for middle east and other counties to earn foreign exchange. This is not a big issue. The present most important issue is, money greed people growing the drugs in their estates both in our twin districts and killing the younger generation for their selfishness let the raiders should bring such people to limelight to curb the menace which is highly appreciated by the public.

If any one purchased hens, Goats, Lambs, or Cows they can do what ever they want. It is none of others business to stop them. Let them slaughter or worship as they want. Who are the Moral Police and what qualification they have and who appointed them? Can they raid all their own peoples house and collect all weapons they are hiding? Are they ready to submit all the documents of EVIL act that they did in the past? Can they reveal the truth from where they are getting information and which politicians are feeding them?

If lion, tiger, and other wild animals can eat cow, then why human being not?
If BJP and its gang can drink and do all eveil act how come this is illegal?

All the people who eat meat must purchase meat from illegal slaughter place till all the evil people brought to the justice.

Dear All Meat eaters of the twin districts:

KINDLY THINK OF THERE IS ONLY ONE SLAUGHTER HOUSE IN MANGALORE FOR THE TWIN DISTRICTS (I AM NOT SURE UDUPI HAS A SLAUGHTER HOUSE) AND PEOPLE HAVE TO MANAGE MEAT EATERS OF BOTH THE TWIN DISTRICT FROM ONE SLAUGHTER HOUSE AT MANGALORE.

This is really a grave concern, unfair and illegal on the part of the meat eaters.

Presently, the people’s friendly congress government is functioning in Karnataka and in the central. Both the twin districts people should put forward meat eaters demand to implement more slaughter houses one each slaughter house for each taluks.

The Graam Panchayat, taluk members the municipality members should be persuaded to pass the agenda of cow slaughter houses in the taluks and in the municipalities.

THIS IS MOST IMMINENT, THE RISING PRICES AND INFLATION ALSO CAN BE CONTAINED TO A GREAT EXTENT.
MEAT EATERS SHOULD COME PUBLICLY AND PRESS SUCH DEMAND WITH THE DISTRICT COLLECTOR AND THE TALUKS TAHASILDARS TO IMPLIMENT/TO ALLOW MORE COW SLAUGHTER HOUSES.

In order to stop illegal slaughtering house, the state should increase the legal slaughter houses every districts. Siddaramaiah has done well lifting ban on cattle slaughtering. Beef is eaten not only by the Muslims and Christians, but even other communities also.

We do not have enough slaughterhouses in Mangalore Udupi.
Government should be legislated more slaughterhouses or Beef Farms like Paul-try Farms, Mutton (Goat) farms.
Demand is more supply is less.
Meat eaters are increasing day by day.
This is the right time to think about it.
By the way looking at the pictures of Chunks of Beef,,,,it reminded me good old days where 'Saib'(Hadrimoon and Ahamed) used to bring beef at our door step every Sundays and we could choose the chunk of our own choice.

I am repeatedly urging the activists and the governmental authorities to open slaughter houses in every taluks of the Dakshina Kannada district. The meat prices are soaring/increasing day by day and becoming costlier due to increase in consumers in droves.

IF ALLOWED ONE EACH SLAUGHTER HOUSE IN EVERY TALUKS IN THE DISTRICT THERE WILL BE NO ILLIGAL SLAUGHTERS AND ONLY LEGAL SLAUGHTERS. MEAT PRICES WILL COME DOWN INSTANTLY.

SECONDLY THOSE RAIDED THE SLAUGHTER HOUSE ARE THE OUTFITS. I URGE THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TO GATHER THEM AND PUT BEHIND THE BARS FOR TAKING LAW IN TO THEIR HANDS. SO THAT THEY MAY BE INSIDE THE JAIL:
CHAKKI PEESING, CHAKKI PEESING AAAAAND CHAKKKKKIIIII PEEEEESING……..

    Surprisingly, Shabir is not beaten.

The criminal outfits are still in action despite their leaders have lost the strong hold in Karnataka. If not controlled, they may start their un-authorized activities once again in other areas also. Police have to act wisely.
