Sullia: Bus conductor rapes minor girl, arrested

Sullia, Sep 4: A bus conductor has been arrested for taking a minor girl to Bangalore without the permission of her parents and then allegedly raping her. The bus conductor is now in police custody.

The girl, studying in a college at Subramanya, used to travel daily by government bus from Sullia to Subramanya, during which she fell in love with bus conductor Nagesh. The conductor lured the girl and convinced her to go with him to Bangalore.

The girl travelled with him from Subramanya to Bangalore, where she was allegedly raped by him. Later the accused Nagesh made her take a bus to Subramanya while he left for his native place in Hassan.

As the girl did not return home, her family members filed a complaint in Subramanya police station. The girl returned home on Sunday September 1 afternoon and revealed the incident to her family. She was soon taken to a private hospital in Puttur for medical examination.

The police, on investigation, learnt that Nagesh hailed from Hassan and was working as a bus conductor from Dharmasthala depot.

The accused was arrested by Subramanya ASI B Kushalappa Gowda and by constable Dayanand at Chowduhalli in Goruru on Tuesday September 3.

Due interrogation, Nagesh admitted to the charges. He was produced in the principal sessions court in Mangalore and sent to judicial custody.

We cannot blame bus condector alone. This girl is not breast milk sucking little baby. If she is going to PUC, surely she is 16 age. All the way she reached bangalore, by Pushpaka-Vimana(ramayana- Style)? It means she concented to elope. Why did she go to bangalore instead of going to the college? To See Siddharamaya CM? From the sequence of events, it appears to be a clear cut case of "consensual sex" turned into a rape accusation under pressure from family and friends!!

The way rape cases are getting reported, the volume of work for the police has increased tremendously, it is time authorities think of opening dedicated police stations with personnel specialized in rape case investigations to expedite and bring justice to the victims and the accused!!

This Case is not a rape in complete, It is love come sex, where nowadays most of the girls are falling in love with Bus drivers & conductors. Here usually there are two types 1. Some girls really fall in love. 2. Many girls pretend to be in love. This is almost 75%, Bcoz of the following reason, These girls want to be luxurious by getting extra pocket money & other gift items from these people. This is because of poverty or parents are strict at home. Parents should be strict and not allow theirs daughters to go out side alone or at least go with their friends.
In this case the girl fell in love and she went with him that means he not a stranger, there may be a minimum conversation of at least one month. Today’s world a girl going with a man with a false love/ true love this is not a rape it is a mutually accepted sex. There are several cases I heard but not noted Bcoz parents know IT IS their daughter’s mistakes, also coz girls don’t tell they had any sexual act. There are also many girls who carry such business, enjoy and finally marry some other man. Here it is good that the girl realized her mistake and she informed her parents. So they complain she was raped or maybe they narrated the incident and police registered it as rape case.

We cannot blame the parents on such incidents. How far they can follow their grown-up children ? It is the faith they have bestowed upon their children should guide them.

Furthermore, there is no remedy to eradicate this social (evil) bug. Humans should have self-control & fear of God. (Even if they do not respect their parents).

The main cause of the rape is that the rapist don't have fear of law. Even the case of rape is proved, the rapists are taken from court to jail & jail to court. Why do we have to wait years to punish a rapist who is proved guilty. Hang them immediately or leave it to public who can handle them thoroughly.

This is absolutely Crazy love story. The parents are not keeping any vigil on their children going to school as lack of awareness and counseling has led to this trauma.
However the conductor has seduced the minor girl wrongfully. The rapist must marry the girl if not hanged to death and no mercy. The police can take out his juice till the verdict comes out. The conductors are persuading innocent girls like street stray dogs.

Now a days we can see every news paper and internet the media using the word for "RAPE" everything. My request is from all media use any word with right situation and suit the word and sentence. "Above Incident" is not "RAPE" that is mutually understanding and both are agreed (Nagesh&Girl)and responsible for the incident.
